Short but sweet, seriously why change it to a 10% chance of mag 2 disorientate vs the 100% mag 1.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Umm, that was changed in 2004. Little late to the party?

  3. If you intend to solo, you'll want Mesmerize. Mass Hypnosis, then Dominate one mob and Mesmerize the others. Cycle Dom/Lev/Mes. Rinse and repeat.

Where is Confuse and Mass Confusion? You want both of those. Move Terrify to 26.

Drop leadership - you're skipping too many good powers.
  4. From Plant I skipped Spirit Tree. From Kin I skipped Repel. I didn't take a travel power and use IR. I did take fitness and Hasten. Took the Primal Forces APP.

I took Spore Burst, but use it infrequently. I may drop it on my next respec, but don't know what I would take instead. I think Entangle is worth taking, not only for the damage, but to be able to stop AVs from running and consistently set up containment against them.
  5. Stalkers don't get Energy Cloak or Dampening Field.
  6. I took my sonic/elec to 50 almost entirely teamed. I took the entire sonic/ set and skipped lightning field and lightning clap. Also skipped the fitness pool.

Sirens song is great solo but not very useful on teams. I happen to really like shockwave, but takes some thought to avoid pissing folks off with it. It provides a trmendous amount of mitigation plus you can get some -kb with one of the kb IO sets (the name escapes me). Power sink is not that useful for sapping, but is a great follow up to Dreadful Wail - you can get right back in the action.

I took the cone and the armor from the elec APP. Was already 50 when they added the 5th power and haven't gotten around to respecing yet.
  7. Recharge in pets only effects the summon, not the recharge of their powers. Fly Trap doesn't die much, so see no need to slot for recharge. Wouldn't bother with the resist aura either. Fly Trap puts a decent amount of damage, so I would look to max the damage enhancement.

My current slotting for Fly Trap is 3x Blood Mandate (Acc, Dmg & Acc/Dmg), 1x Dmg IO, Achilles' Heel proc, Lady Grey proc. I find the procs to be well worth it since they have a chance to fire with 3 of Fly Trap's 4 attacks.
  8. I have been /bugging this for years. It predates IOs.

    Damage Cap?

The Combat Attributes display doesn't consider enhancements. So, if you have 95% damage slotted in a power, you can only use 205% in buffs before you cap.

PBU will work with Benumb. Enough reason to take it right there.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I found Benumb powerful enough. Basically comes down to more -regen, huh? Personally, I like the unenhanceable aspects of it.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Actually, the -regen ignores enhancements and buffs. The aspects of benumb that PBU affects are -def, -heal, -speed and -tohit, as well as the strength and duration of the target's mezzes and mezz protection.

    Energy Torrent

To clarify further, the blaster, defender and corruptor versions of ET knockBACK. The scrapper and tanker versions knockDOWN.
  12. PBU will work with Benumb. Enough reason to take it right there.
  13. I don't think Mind's soloability is at issue. I can solo using nothing more than MH, Dom, Mes and Lev and never touch my secondary. Mind is decent on a team up to 3-4 players. However, on a team of 8 it is measurably weaker than many sets, relying heavily on Terrify for AoE control.

As far as MC vs. SoC, they need to buff one or nerf the other. No aggro does not compensate for 4x the recharge, a 20% acc penalty and 24 levels. Personally, I do not find Plant to be overpowered, so my vote would be to buff MC. I wouldn't even care if they removed the no aggro. I have played both sets to 50 and the fact that SoC aggroes was never an issue.
  14. While I understand your reasoning for the TD changes, keep in mind that all the AoE holds were balanced to the same specs. I think the devs would be reluctant to give Mind's better specs, even if it is lacking in the areas you describe. You would get folks complaining that Ice or Gravity or whatever should get similar treatment because those sets also underperform.

In terms of parity, I would like to see Mass Confusion buffed. Other than the non-aggro aspect (which is usless in 90% of situations), Mass Confusion is inferior to Seeds of Confusion in almost every way, particularly the longer (4x) recharge and lower accuracy. A level 32 power should be demonstrably BETTER than a level 8 power. While I understand that Mind doesn't need MC they way Plant needs SoC, at the least MC should have its recharge lowered to 60 seconds and its accuracy increased to 1.0. I would also like to see its chance to crit increased from 20% to 50%.l

    Ice/TA

I couldn't disagree more. Although EMP Arrow has a 1 minute longer recharge (30 seconds after slotting for recharge), it has 20% higher accuracy, almost double the duration (28s v 15s unslotted), a higher chance to crit (50% v 20%), a larger radius (35 ft v 30 ft) and can be used from range. The -recovery is a total non-issue.

One thing to keep in mind is that you have no ST damage dealing powers other than BoI. Not much of a problem if you team exclusively, but could be if you want to solo at all or want to deal with foes that aggro on you. I took Chilblain, Air Superiority and Ice Blast.

I know that PGA doesn't get a lot of love, but an autohit 20% -dmg with a 25 foot AoE is nothing to sneeze at. Think of it as providing 20% resistance to all.

I don't currently have Glacier in my build, mainly because I don't have room. I wouldn't skip EMP Arrow - its one of the best AoE holds in the game.

With the ability to replenish and replace jet packs, I find that SS has fewer tradeoffs. Take whichever travel power you prefer.
  18. Transference targets a single foe and affects them with an end drain. It then summons a pet which grants an end buff to all friendlies within 20 feet of the target.
  19. I've got one at 50. Brutally effective and a blast to play. Need to get her out more.

    Nerf to "Smoke"?

There was a change to Smoke (and Flash Arrow, Blinding Powder, Smoke Grenade, etc.) when used by Custom Critters in MA. The -perception supresses after a player is hit. No change to player versions of the power.
  21. You do know that blasters can use three attacks while mezzed (first 2 in primary and first in secondary).
  22. [ QUOTE ]
4: Creepers gets 4 Positrons blast ( no Proc ) and 2 Recharge. Creepers is going be what kills the bad guys from 27 to 35, so until you can get enough recharge in it to have it up all the time, you will be doing a lot less damage than you could.

    [/ QUOTE ]
As I indicated above, Positron's Blast (and other Targeted AoE sets) does not work properly with Creepers. Creepers spawns a number of subpets and IO sets only enhance the relevant subpet:
    1. Bramble: AoE slow. No damage.
    2. Creeper Patch: AoE immobilize. 0.60 damage scale.
    3. Vines: ST smash (0.56 damage scale) and ST thorns (0.46 damage scale) attacks.

Targeted AoE sets: Affects only Creeper Patch
Immobilize sets: Affects only Creeper Patch
Slow sets: Affect Bramble and Vines
    Knockback sets: Affects Vines

If you want to enhance all aspects of the power, it is best to slot common IOs, SOs or HOs.
  23. Roots: Slot more damage

O2: Numina unique is a proc. Its wasted here unless you use O2 every 2 minutes. Slot the unique in Health.

Carrion Creepers: Positron's Blast and other Targeted AoE sets do not buff damage from the vines attacks, only the immobilize. You need to slot common IOs in this power.

Thunder Clap: Needs more acc. This power really needs 6 slots to be effective. Since you have no other stuns to stack with it, I would be inclined to skip it.

Seeds of Confusion: At level 35? With only 1 slot? Take this at level 8 and 6 slot ASAP for acc, confuse and recharge.

Tornado: You don't have it. Tornado+Roots=LOTS of damage.

Entangle: You don't have this either. One of your few sources of ST damage short of epics.

    Maneuvers: Why?
  24. Nothing appears glaring. You could add another endred to EF. Slot IO sets with +rec or +end set bonuses. Pick up the Atlas Medallion and Portal Jockey accolades. Pick up the Performance Shifter chance for +end proc.
