Are Scrappers going to get Elec/Elec
Yes Elec melee would be cool to get. We have only had Powerset Proliferation once and the plan is to port every thing over that fits. So Scrapper should be Elec melee sometime just don't count on it to be anytime soon.
With Elec armour they are going to need to make some change it some. Elec armour as Conserve Power and that is in the Scrapper Epic pool. So I would assume that they would like to change that first and take away Conserve Power for Elec before they give it to Scrappers and Tanks, but I could be worng.

Electric Armor on a Scrapper (if ported as is) would be terrible. The biggest problem is the lower resistance cap compared to Brutes (75% vs 90%) for two reasons:
1) One of the hallmarks of the set is the sets capped energy resistance. This benefit would be completely diluted at 75%, forcing the Scrapper to take 2.5 times as much damage. Instead of being able to take ~13,380 pure energy damage (not counting regen) before dying (90% res), it would only take 5,352 pure energy damage to kill a Scrapper.
2) Power Surge would suck. For the same reason as above, a Scrapper would be taking 2.5 times as much damage as a Brute. Considering this is a power that Elec Brutes would lean on heavily (due to low mitigation outside of the set) it wouldn't be half as powerful on a Scrapper. Unlike Unstoppable, Elec Armor doesn't have DP (heal +maxhp) or defense (TH, Invin) to stack on top of it.
That's not even mentioning the fact Brutes have higher hp.
Yuck.

Thus the mentioning of it! You could rename the Electric Armor one to Charged and the Energy Aura one to Energetic. Eh? Ehhhhhh? Sounds like an awesome idea, right?

I'd prefer a passive version of Conserve Power at 1/3 to 1/4 strength.

I would hate elec armor on a scrapper. At least the ave playstyle of a non def stalker is hit placate and get outta there. And stalkers have hide. Elec armor is like FA without healing flames, as far as protection goes. Most scrappers take pride in the fact that they can stand in the middle of a mob and "know" they are about the drop every last one of them. Try that with /elec vs non nrg attackers. You'll be laying next to that blaster that wasn't paying attention. You may even drop before the blaster. People complained about /DA. /DA has simple holes to fill that can be filled early on. With /elec, its power sync, tough and weave or a quicker death. Keep in mind that tough and weave aren't as strong on a scrapper as they are on brutes. I think /EA would be a better fit for scrappers then /elec. I'd luv to see some /EA, /SR, and /SD debates in the scrapper forums.

Most people think that
I think what they would do is block the power choice if you get it in one you cant get it in the other pool. They already done something similar with venom grenade that the Spiders get.

vallatabanan: Never played one, but I think they'd be far less than ideal, yes... probably more so than even Scrappers (less hp, lower hp cap, loss of Elec Field which kills their mitigation from end drain, and it's resist based instead of defense so it's harder to slip back into Hide). I'm no genius Stalker player or anything (~38 Elec/EA), but those are my thoughts.
