  1. RV should only be accessible through Atlas Park. It's nice to confused new heroes when level 50's are running around the lower level of town hall for 'special reasons', lol.
  2. Oooooh, it was a suggestion! My bad.

I'm with Ninja. What he has suggested it a BLOODY GOOD IDEA!
  3. Hey, it's not *that* weird to get a blaster to level 50 and not have ALL of the debt badges - I did the same. Gratz on your level 50! Now go back and get those debt badges! You owe it to your blaster!

Given that bases are now exceedingly *cheap* compared to their previous prices (which were still affordable), the racks aren't going to cost you much.

On the flipside, depending how many you required in one room, I can see how the 'limit on storage items' might hamper your decoration.

I'm all one for more decoration to flesh out bases (it's been a LONG time since we've seen anything new) - but I'm not sure that the OP is a good suggestion.
  5. Following the logic off 'just travel there normally - it's not that far'... why were / are the teleport beacons expanded? There only used to be, what - just over 10? Then the collection doubled (hero-side). Even now, we can see a Pocket D teleport - why? A lot of people have the TP power, or can get it, and there are FOUR entrances. So why not find your own way to Pocket D? To be honest, it makes more sense to me to have teleporters to PVP zones which are based in *this* dimension, and require (to quote a day job badge) 'Rapid Response' to tackle villains (if your teammates or SG need support) than to have a teleport that leads to a inter-dimensional sanctuary based in the middle of nowhere, which is regularly frequented by elves, men in togas and old father time.
  6. I'll have to play with that, Ninja. I had no idea you could do that I can add markers for my police stations!
  7. You may be right, Dave, but to support the OP, I must say that since I13 and the second build availablity, I have designed a superior build to the one that I have (inc. purples, better franken-sets, and generally 'better' choices) and am slowly building it up. I hit the AH now and then to pick up recipes for these IOs, but I'll also need to use merits to get them (since some recipes are actually easier to get through merits than to buy, inf-wise). Thus, I've been looking at how best to acquire merits, and save on INF a little. I've decided, for now, to run through some of my favourite flashbacks and get merits that way. I tend to lean towards those that provide temporary powers (might as well come away with more rewards!) such as wolves, cogs, or weapons that have 'number of uses' over 'game time left'.

Double XP weekend will see my SG running all six Freedom Phalanx TFs in three days. That will give me a nice fistful of merits, and of course, double the INF to build them with.

To the OP - if you're soloing, run some fun flashbacks. Teaming? Run a TF. Only a little time to spare? Go and hunt a monster. IMO, the most reliable one to show up (not couniting Lusca) would be Adamastor in Dark Astoria. I swear, he NEVER leaves.
  8. Yes, is the simple answer. You've got it right.

Bases need PVP zone teleport beacons

    Hollow Veterans?

It just seems odd - I mean, why have a gap? Why didn't the 'reward' for 48 months become the 45 month one?

    Hollow Veterans?

Forgive me for asking, in case this is something that has been discussed before - but why is there a veteran reward with... no reward? Those that follow carry powers / costume pieces / benefits, etc - so why (is it the 45 month one?) is there a gap...?
  12. I miss punctuation - it makes some of these posts so hard to read.

The OP has three days of Winter Event left to get the two event-based badges - then it's a wait until February (wow, that gap is short!)

If it's Longbow, you'll want to farm a specific mission or two in the Rikti War Zone - unless you've taken down Longbow by having a villain confuse them first (easy to do in a PVP zone...)
  13. Certainly would make an interesting veteran reward, but goes a bit beyond the OP, which was for an 'elite' version of the 'basic' base item
  14. It's not just about being 'tight on space', though - it's about not wanting a huge collection of pads everywhere, when you could just have an 'advanced' one that has more locations on it.
  15. Thanks forsaken - I knew that bit - I meant how have people gone about *doing* that?

I've tried spos, Bru - they tend to light up the ceiling, not the flyer
  16. Oh, it's not a money issue! Trust me, we have prestige coming out of our ears, and the base is nice and big - it just seems like a large, unncessary use of space, have 11-ish pads, with beacons spread across two rooms - reducing these would make the system a bit more 'compact' and easier to manage / memorise.
  17. The 36 month veteran reward, the Arachnos Flyer base decoration item - is huge. It's also quite complicated to light up well, I've found.

Has anyone else had this issue? If so - what have you done to display / light up the flyer so that it doesn't just sit in the shadows?
  18. Pru is right - WB and co-op PVP is the best way to hit the 750 PVP kills. I spent some time there recently, working on my 400 rep PVP badge. It didn't take long after that to achieve the 750 kills - the 20 wakies, quick-kill-quick-rez tactic works beautifully.
  19. I have to agree with you there, GG. Flying towards the train station in Independence Port, you've got that cluster of icons. You point at it, and it 'explodes' into a multitude of markers - it can be a bit fiddly clicking the one you want! I tend to just click any of them, fly in that general direction, and then navigate more when I get there!
  20. Perhaps not 'one' pad - but even if we could halve the number of pads we use (four beacons to a pad) that would make a difference
  21. Actually, my thanks to Dante - I didn't realise there was one it Atlas. Thanks for the directions!
  22. Perhaps - but I know I'm not the only one that would like more beacons to a pad to reduce the massive number of pads needed to cover the whole city.
  23. I gotta agree with Raven on this one (which feels weird... :P )

Portal Corps. Day Job. End of.
  24. We've unlocked and placed the Auto-Doc, and are approx. 85% of the way through our second healing badge - so it's certainly doable. I've seen people that have all three SG-badge related Infirmary items - so again, they are obtainable.

The OP was meant to point out that Auto-Docs are good for 'stocking up' ( I can't agree that they are only for raids, sorry ) and that perhaps they should become more well-rounded insp selling locations.
