Lighting the Arachnos Flyer
you can use lights from the light in placing items
i havent actuly placed one in our base yet but i would go with a number of roof mounted spotlights to ligh it up combine that with using the room light itself should work well to make it stand out personaly i would use a darkened room with a whole lot of well placed spots but not tryed it yet
There isnt a problem on earth that cant be solved with the proper aplication of hi explosive's

Thanks forsaken - I knew that bit - I meant how have people gone about *doing* that?
I've tried spos, Bru - they tend to light up the ceiling, not the flyer

with the removal of pathing you could try floating some light sources inside the flier to light it up without being able to see them
you could use spotlights for aesthetics then (i often do something like this because i'm not a fan of room lighting)
after eading this the other night i desied to give it a shot and i have to admit winters came across a doosy of a simple problem i tryed all the obviouse stuff to light the flyer then started with stacking lights and the likes and nothing seemed to set it off just right and my own idea about spots was just pointless they dun nothing for the look at all
eventuly after about an hour or so faffing about i gave up and just deleted the decorative room i had it in such a shame to considering how easy it is to make the longbow flyer things look rather smart in the base

hmm this sounds interesting im gonna have to give this a go later and see if theres anything i can find to work i'll let you all know if i do
I have placed the ventilating floor elements underneath the the Arachnos flier. They light up a bit and make it look like the flier is whirling dust and other particles around in the air.
The thing is just too big to light up nicely, it's all or nothing, the small lights dont make an impact on the gloom and putting the room lights up dont accentuate it.

The 36 month veteran reward, the Arachnos Flyer base decoration item - is huge. It's also quite complicated to light up well, I've found.
Has anyone else had this issue? If so - what have you done to display / light up the flyer so that it doesn't just sit in the shadows?
