Components grant 3 Brainstorms. This seemed completely fair to me, when I was busy converting, since, as the OP says, it took 2-4 Base to make a Component.

Ok not played in 6 months...but am I right in assuming base salvage is not used for anything anymore..
From what I have read I assume I have to use what I have into Brainstorms for invention salvage to make base items is the right?
Does this work for component salvage also?

Seems a bit unfair we get only 1 Brain Storm for the Component salvage.
As far as i can remember you had to use 2-4 base-salage to create 1 Component.
So my idea is if we convert 1 Component to Brain Storms, we have to get at least 2 (and maybe more) Brain Storms.
I took a lot of time to create components, so we should get at least some reward for it.
Anyone agree with me ?
