Quote:Wiat until the mission is -1, then set your difficulty level to -1/x0 as well. That makes the mission effectively -2 (everything is now green and blue.) At that level, even my FF/Rad Defender (who wears Non-Combat Pet as her badge title) can solo the Safeguards.reason i say almost is if your toon is not very good at soloing (then you can have a friend along who lets you get the credit lol)
And if you are already level 50, then still at least set the difficulty to -1. By the time you reach 50, you should be able to solo -1 PI Safeguard missions no matter the AT and powerset. -
Quote:Actually, both orange and yellow inspirations are becoming much more useful lately.I usually have my tray clogged with oranges and yellows, both of which are pretty useless most of the time.
I've noticed that defense does not seem to be as effective as it once was for some reason. So since hits are getting through more often it seems, those oranges help reduce the incoming damage.
And those once worthless yellows are proving to be much needed thanks to various long lasting blind powers that seem to be more plentiful. Can't see what's attacking you? Pop a yellow and everything is clear again. -
Quote:Just had to go look, and you're right. Targetted AOE is pretty lacking as far as sets go. Never noticed that there are only 3 normal TAOE sets, and yes, it does look like that as far as bonuses go, Posi's is the only one with anything worthwhile.Yeah, I mentioned the lack of Targeted AoE sets in a thread I made recently when I found the reason why it seems that Snipe sets are by far the most common thing to drop.
Turns out that there are five standard snipe sets that all go to level 50.
It's kind of baffling considering Targetted AoE's have all of three normal sets PERIOD, and that PBAoE's got Eradication and Obliteration back in Issue 13.
And Positron's Blast is like the only one of the three that's got anything going for it set bonus wise. :P
I don't think we need to merge lists. I just think we need to add more Targetted AoE sets.
At least the other two sets are often cheap enough for those who just want to frankenslot Targetted AOE powers instead of going for set bonuses. -
It was only past Winter Event badges that were available, not anniversary badges.

It's an April Fool's thing, and a fairly weak one at that.

GMail Motion was much more clever. -

Ratings now turned off on the video, because some mental midget here thought it was worth voting down for no good reason. (obviously had to be from here since it is unlisted and this is the only place it was posted.)

Ah, never mind. It was a false alarm. Quitting and restarting the client seems to have fixed it.

I can't remember exactly, but I think I shelled out about $50 to $60 for my 1GB Radeon HD4650 at Best Buy a few months back. Been serving me quite well ever since.

Now that the game is back up, I am seeing some awful shaking on the character select screen
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5T3aOVM60rk (No, it's not a Rickroll)
However, as the quick little video I took of this shows, it is only on the first page of characters where the shaking happens. The second and third pages do not do this. -
There's actually 2 EBs in that one: Tendaji (had to flat out drop that one on my Darkity/Dark since I was perma stunned and KBed despite having KB protection) and Deitrich in the final mission, tough but still beatable.

Quote:I was going to suggest The Freakalympics with its 8 easy door missions and only one defeat all for 34 merits. However, it looks like even though it is only 6 merits, Julius The Kind Hearted Troll may give better returns for your time. 1 easy hunt, 2 door missions, and only one of those is a fairly fast defeat all.

Do you have any other major story arcs open? I'm not sure what the new limit is now, but if you have tsoo many going, then it won't be available until one of those gets cleared up.
-
Also make certain that the character you are running it on is actually level 25, since the arc is bugged to where none of the contacts will offer it until then.

Quote:It is doubtful that would happen due to a certain great ranged damage proc (Devastation: Chance for Hold) that would become a totally awesome AOE hold.So many ask for additional targeted AOE sets. How about lower fruit?
Merge targeted AOE and regular blasts into a single set category.
Then there would also be an issue of both ranged damage and targetted AOE damage each having its own purple set. -
-
How can you safeguard? All it takes is one buyer bidding 200,000 to make the price 200,000 (which would most likely go to someone listing for under what yours are listed at.)

Quote:The other day I got my MA/SR Scrapper to level 47 and in order to deck him out with several IO sets it cost me over 2000 merits, and about 1.5 Billion inf and there is not a single purple on him. NOT ONE. I stripped all the inf from my other characters and had them use their reward merits to "buy" some of his recipes and emailed them to him, took about eight hours total.
Wow! Sounds like you spent way too much to IO out a single character with all non-purple sets.
I think it cost me all total under 400 million inf to IO out not one, but 2 Assault Rifle/Traps Corruptors. Granted, I'm not counting what I could have made off the half dozen or so alignment merits I spent on a few pieces that weren't available at a price (if at all) that I was comfortable with.
Sure, it took about 2 or 3 days off and on, but I managed to get everything needed by putting out bids (in many cases, lowball bids at that) and waiting. Go for a range of levels instead of just sticking with one and only one IO level. My range I did was 33 to 38 (my corruptor went for the 33 to 35 range and my partner was happy with the 35 to 38 range).
For the few pieces that took longer than the others to get, SOs or generic IOs filled in those slots in the interim.
Also ended up with several extra pieces that other alts will eventually need, or that could then get crafted and resold for a nice profit. -
I thought the lowest level stealths were 15, so a level 10 would not be able to random roll those.

Quote:Also, River Rat and all of the Praetorian exploration badges.Note that you can't get any of these after you leave Praetoria for Primal Earth (in addition to Avid Reader in the tutorial):
Moral High Ground
Resistance Member
Loyalist
So these effectively have a level 1-20 limit. -

I think one of the biggest oopses of the Animal pack is the lack of wings to go with the bird heads (tail feathers is a shortfall too, but wings is a bigger issue.)
As it stands now, newcomers who buy the animal pack in hopes of making a cool eagle or crow, or whatever bird character have to either purchase the Valkyrie pack (not the best option, since those seem more like metal wings than feathery bird wings) or wait 18 months for the vet reward wings.
So, I would propose that either some new wings be retroactively added to the pack or go ahead and change the 18 month vet reward to something else and make the angel (and demon) wings available to everyone from the get-go. -
Quote:What is it you're going for? BotZ -kb ios drop, but I can't think of any other high value recipes at 10.
I suspect level 10 Karma and Steadfast -KB IOs are probably high value too, since they can be slotted at 7. Otherwise, another thing to do would be wait for the Winter Event, stock up on candy canes, and buy a bunch of Winter's Gift Slow Resist IOs, since there is no level slider for things purchased from the Candy Keeper.
