Quote:/regen to my knowledge struggles in soft capping. Now, if you want to max out resist after getting def up as high as you can, then go def and then resist. Well, recharge and then def and resist.there like no point after 45% to get more def unless your fighting +hit guys. Even when not fighitng +hit guys the auto hit rule can still some times kill your pretty fast esp on boss farms.
I'm soft cap on my shield and I can only farm with no bosses +1/x8 because when I turn on boss autohits eventually blow me up. I'd take +res after soft cap if I could -
Just give me a Dark/dark blaster based on Dark blast and Dark melee and call it a day. A blaster with controls and two heals would be sweet. The ranged heal is part damage as well so it's not exactly overpowered. The better one comes via melee. Fit in Aim and Soul Drain and crank out T.T. and Nightfall with their rather nice recharge times. Hell, take out the ranged heal/attack and sub in Aim for it.

They will be due for another round in i20 which is early next year.
-
Of course, the best resistance is not getting hit at all. Getting def will be easier and will have a better pay off.

You mean Elec/elec? Scrappers don't get Energy Melee and Energy Armor.

And you don't eat more food if you are hungrier. You just need to get to the proper amount of food sooner. I'm horrible at that aspect.

Marvel should have gone down to $2.98 just to spite them.

Quote:"Oh lighten up Francis."So let me get this straight. I chose to ask a question in the appropriate forum, instead of spamming a request in broadcast in PI, or sending indiscriminate tells, and the response I get is to be reported. Thats the kind of response I would expect from a WOW forum. Thanks.
By the way, I hear sarcasm is a reportable offense. You better toddle off and report that as well. I think I'll moderate myself at this point and leave.
I did a search on "farms" within the controller forum. I got 3 results in the first two pages that seemed to stand out in terms of title alone. One of them was started today. All of them mention various farms that people do.

Also note Family and BP are favs. -
I'm working on getting it to where I can log onto a character and work the market for 5-10 minutes at worst and make 100mil. If you think you can farm and make that kind of influ per time, then knock yourself out and don't tell anyone because it will get fixed.
P.S. Game time != total time. Sometimes that 5-10 minutes of work has to sit and do it's magic. -
Somebody in Praet. broadcast mentioned hitting 50 while never training past level 2. Outside of what has been mentioned, getting enhancements would be a pain.

Quote:I've lost stuff after 60 days while being actively subbed. After my last two breaks I have had stuff still there 200+ days of a character not being logged in, so it's my guess something got changed even if there was no official word on it although with the breaks I've had I've missed out on a lot in terms of news. Please note my longest break from being subbed has been mere days.If your account was still paid up and had time left, ie "active", you can leave your stuff in the Market indefinitely. As soon as your paid time runs out and your account goes "inactive", the Market wipe clock starts. After 60 days, everything in your Market inventory is wiped, no movement to personal inventory, no bid/sell cancellations, no refunds, just deleted.
Quote:Then you got lucky or a policy has changed within the last year regarding items stored on the markets. Until I16 (or was it I17) you were at risk of having your market stuff wiped after 60 days even if your account was active if you didn't log in to check on it, but that was changed to just inactive accounts. -
I think it's better than the original version, but I guess it would be nice if it was shorter.Yes, I know it's fairly short. I just want it shorter.

Free costumes. Not free costume changes. They want more costumes added via free updates versus being forced to pay for the booster packs.

You already have all of the damaging attacks I would take. You could take Torrent since you skipped Gale. The damage is low so it's pure utility, but it adds AoE KB with tohit debuff.

Quote:Opinions on when to sub depends on the player and the amount they can afford. I usually switch from SOs to IOs at 32 since level 35 IOs compare well with +3 SOs. I still typically do just commons though. I have too many alts to really start IOing out every guy that dings 32. I think I have probably 10+ there now and that's just 30-40. /elec has two end management powers so end is a non-issue for /elec. /fire has Consume so I'm not sure why it would have end issues either. Thanks for the replies. I don't mind grouping, I just rather not. I enjoy having my own pace, and I like doing the Hero Story Arc's, with a radio mission thrown in.
I did group for several levels, and the leveling is amazing I'll admit, I went from 28 to 30 in about 90 minutes, in a 8 person group.
Speaking of IO, at what level do most of you start buying sets. I'm about to make 32 with my F/F scrapper, should I convert from SO's to IO Sets? Influence is not an Issue, my friend who unfortunately looks like going to quit, has given me almost a billion influence. Not sure if that a lot for IO Sets, but from shopping the Auctions I think I can afford what I need.
I read most people talk about IO sets at level 50, does that mean you stick with SO's until then.
I haven't read much about Elec/Elec Scrapper, how is the Endurance management, is it as bad as Fire/Fire? -
GR let's you bring a brute blue side and hitting 20 is like 3 play sessions. Claws to me still feels like the fasted paced melee set. I can skip the tier one attack on it for a brute and still build fury during the lower levels. DB would be my next pick since it's like Claws and plays better with WP.

DM matches well with /invul due to the heal, but then DM matches well with pretty much anything. Elec/shield is very popular due to the AoEs and it can be used as a farmer. Just because something is less talked about, it doesn't make it bad. The forums tend to have a number of min/maxers so that's why certain builds get talked about more than others. DB/elec isn't talked about much and yet I'm having fun on mine.

As much as TheMightyStorm was a champion for the Storm set, they swore by taking the snipe and skipping the 2nd tier attack which I never understood. All the more so since I rerolled my Storm/dark and got it up to 27 so far.
