account expiring Qs
If you have items stored in the market, they will be wiped (as in completely eliminated) after 60 days of your account being inactive. If you're only going to be gone for a month, month and a half, you don't have anything to worry about, but if it's longer I'd suggest pulling items out of your market slots and global email.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
My account this one here I let lapse for 167 days had both stuff i was bidding on and stuff I was selling. The stuff was worth about 400 million so I was kinda worried. I came back all my stuff was purchased and sold with my infamy/IOs waiting for me.
So ya everything should be on the market when you come back it was for me after 167 days.

Then you got lucky or a policy has changed within the last year regarding items stored on the markets. Until I16 (or was it I17) you were at risk of having your market stuff wiped after 60 days even if your account was active if you didn't log in to check on it, but that was changed to just inactive accounts.

The only way to guarantee your things are safe is to pull them off the market.
If your account was still paid up and had time left, ie "active", you can leave your stuff in the Market indefinitely. As soon as your paid time runs out and your account goes "inactive", the Market wipe clock starts. After 60 days, everything in your Market inventory is wiped, no movement to personal inventory, no bid/sell cancellations, no refunds, just deleted.

My account was NOT paid up for 167 days so either I am lucky as **** or it was changed, but I think both even considering when I listed/bidded all this stuff it was on the old market interface.
So not only did my stuff survive 167 days of inactive account it also survived the market change. I know I'm lucky but even luck can't take all the credit, so the devs get the credit. All I can say is thank you devs.
Maybe it was a stealth change but there you have it.
cool. ty. it sounds like stuff unsold/stored is deleted in 60 days . stuff sold isnt.
ya only going to be gone for a month. so sound like my plan to just not pay tell i can get on agian(have to get new lab top anyways mine fryed like 3 weeks ago.)

The last time I reactivated my second account (using the Invite a Friend Back program, which requires 90 days unsubbed), some of my characters had empty market inventories, others did not. I had left their market slots alone when I unsubbed, since I hadn't planned on leaving it that long, so they all "should" have had stuff. This was less than 2 months ago.
The official word is that your stuff gets deleted after 60 days. The way it works seems more lenient - but your stuff may still go when it's supposed to. If you're going to be gone for any significant amount of time, pull your stuff, or plan on losing it (and be pleasantly surprised if you don't).
@Roderick
k well in 2 days i am off to basic training for the canadian forces... so i wont be able to use a comp for anything for at least the next 4-5 weeks. my account end thow in a week. i don't want to wast a 30 day time card just to end up getting 1 week to non out of it.
if i have stuff for sale in the market. wood the staff stay there and still be sold once account goes down or end up in a market limbo unsellable but still there.. same as if it sells before it goes down. when i reactivate account well it still be there for my to get the inf from. or should i be pulling all my stuff off the market tomorrow night.
