I missed it so I'll most likely need an email of the show's recording.

Quote:Somewhat intentional to be honest :PSo... based on the topic title... did anyone else think this would have something to do with pokemon?
I almost have to wonder what would theoretically buff Scorpion. I do have a question, does his Taunt thave the -range component Tankers have? -
It actually depends on the AV. Considering AVs are supposed to be team content anyways (yes I know some builds can solo them) making them slightly smarter makes sense pending on the situation.

Quote:Well, I tried to be there, but I crashed 3 times due to lag even without attacking or even talking, so...
The client doesn't even give me a crash dialog anymore, just a hard crash to the desktop.Quote:Same. I set all my details to minimum and even when I wasn't held, I couldn't move or use any attacks. I basically stood there and/or died for the entire time. No, my PC isn't an old thing. I've never had this sort of trouble before... The lag was horrendous. And when almost everything was spawning at a lvl 54... Ow.
It wasn't any fun for me, I'm afraid. -
I'm not doubting their skill on a theory/practicality level. I'm just...intrigued...by the challenge of designing challenging content in a game where it can either be easily trivialized and/or there's complaints when things can't be steamrolled.

I almost feel sorry for Posi attempting to concentrate on the End Game. Almost. Reap what you sow I guess.
*curls evil mustache* -
Of the four Arachnos Patrons, which is considered the weakest PvE enemy? Why?
-
I think if it would be very good but should be used in moderation. Like make it one per spawn like Sappers, limit them to specific missions SFs/TFs, or give them advantages with clear disadvantages.

Clarification on the Archetype pin. Pin given will be matching the AT the player is using.

Hm...
I need to log out but if you get a chance could you stick your head in? Victory server. -
That's sort of the problem. It was 80-90% full.

I'm pretty embarrased to have to ask this but...how do you obtain zone control in Siren's Call?
The other night I stuck my head in since my Dom was actually within range. Managed to get a kill, the bar up top was mostly red, and I managed to win a hotspot battle. However, it still said heroes had control up top. Most info I've looked at mentions the rewards when you have control but only vaguely mentions winning battles for getting control. -
Ah, that's what I was needing. Felt like Arbiter Sawyer didn't like me for a moment there.

*raises hand*
If you do decide to be mean and reveal his name, I'm sure I or someone I know can find a hard-mish-is-hard AE mission for him to "farm". Heh heh. -
How do you claim this? I just hit my 9 month but have no clue how.

Quote:Highlighted for emphasis. I think this is the main issue with endgame content. To hard and you just alienate people but if it's too easy then there's no point to even adding it since it won't really be endgame content. The main key is making encounters that teams have to either approach differently than the normal steamroll or in some situations it may require you to hit things full speed ahead....and if it's content that anyone can do on SOs it's not End-Game content, it's just more level 50 content with (perhaps) disproportionately good rewards.
I'm not a power-gamer or a min/maxer. I pick powers for concept and fun, not to make my characters uber. I slot IOs that drop until I hit 50 then I might, just might, try to collect the rest of the sets. Nonetheless, at some point the devs will have to start balancing some higher end content around IO'd power levels, because as it it at the moment I've been on plenty of moderately IO'd teams who will walk over anything short of multiple AVs without breaking sweat.
If doing the new end-game content results is rewarded by increasing the power of your 50s, then it should be designed to challenge those who've already put in effort to increase the power of their 50s within the current game. -
Hello Victorians.
Denizens of the Rogue Isles must ascribe to greater things than just another coop ITF with the silly heroes. I propose that this upcoming Sunday at 5PM EST we descend upon the nazis with rampant prejudice as we tackle the Barracuda Strike Force. Come one and all for a delightful test of wit and skill. -
Is the Demoralize effect on Assassin's Strike (-to hit and fear) affected by any set bonuses that globally boost fear or to hit debuffs?
-
Maybe my bias is showing but I really don't feel that way. MM or Dom teams with enough members can effectively lock down a spawn. Corrs act as a force multiplier and a Stalker here and there can spike the hard targets everything else missed.

What intrigues me about the silence of GR info is that the community reps seem to be stepping up on these smaller events. Mini Rikti raids, these AE playthroughs, and whatever this upcoming Carnie thing is. I'd say that this is something that adds more life to the game and makes things more dynamic. What's intriguing is some of what their actual capacity is.

It could prove to be quite interesting, just drop a warning. Something else to keep in mind on the other side of things is that some sets may have enough perception to see your enemies regardless.

Quote:It probably made sense at the time. As of now, we have so many ways to eliminate debt that there is little need.Honestly, my biggest (general) irritation with IO sets is one thing -
"x% debt reduction."
... Really? This had to be a set bonus?
This. Snipe sets get it which obviously makes sense but it's odd that the regular ranged sets don't. -
