Siren's Call
you have to keep winning hotspot battles, once the bar completely fills though, it will reset to a 50-50 split between red and blue.
the better thing to do is just keep it like 90% your sides color so you have access to the special shop, because as long as the balance is not 50-50, whichever side has more on the bar "controls" sirens call.
That's sort of the problem. It was 80-90% full.
Colonel Jasmine had a very detailed zone guide she made years ago. Might want to search for that. Also, her forum name may have been Col Jasmine. I'd just search for "Jasmine" as the poster.
Hm...
I need to log out but if you get a chance could you stick your head in? Victory server.

This is actually inaccurate. The momentarily position of the progress bar does not decide who has zone control. In order to control the zone, you have to win enough hot-spot battles to push the bar to a reset. Not until that has happened will the store open up for your side. If you do this twice in a row, there will be more items available at the store.

After that it's recommended to get it to about 90-95% control and leave it there to make it very tedious for the opposing faction to take control. Keep in mind, even if you have won the zone twice (or more, won't unlock more items though) the opposition only has to take it once to get the first tier store opened in their base and close yours.
Thanks, that worked.
I'm pretty embarrased to have to ask this but...how do you obtain zone control in Siren's Call?
The other night I stuck my head in since my Dom was actually within range. Managed to get a kill, the bar up top was mostly red, and I managed to win a hotspot battle. However, it still said heroes had control up top. Most info I've looked at mentions the rewards when you have control but only vaguely mentions winning battles for getting control.
