Heh, I've run into a few of those lately on Freedom.
I have, however, been running a lot of non-farm AE teams. I'm actually having fun. Doing the same canon arcs/TFs were starting to become a bit stale for me. People are responding to it, too. You'd be surprised how many people are interested in not using AE as a farming tool.
Actions speak louder than Vets.
You know, I don't mind doing arcs/missions. What I DO mind is the moronic amount it takes to get story arcs going with a lot of the early contacts; they're out in the middle of no where, they take 5+ missions to get phone call level, and they stick a half dozen hunts and/or tutorial fedex missions in the middle of everything.

I understand he was at the lvl cap for a trail account, and i get that tickets are nice but a stalker "farming" a stalker is kinda like the blind leading the blind. and i would have rolled another toon rather then lying in wait at the black market to ambush high lvl toons and beg them to help me get tickets

if they were on a trial account and couldnt lvl anymore, i wouldnt mind getting tickets myself if i had nothing planned for the day or nothing going on. a trial account cant make more than 50k inf either, so im not entirely sure why they would want to get rare salvage that sells for 20x the amount they can carry.
of course if i did allow them to come with me, and they did lvl past 14, i would kick them from team immediatly and /ignore them

they disappeared for a while, but I've noticed a small resurgence of these kinds of players on my server as well.
A few months ago I was in ouro and a lvl49 tank came up to me and asked me how to get out. He had been trapped there for like 10 min. Apparently he saw a shiny on the Atlas AE floor and tried to take it home >.>

Huge thanks to cuppamanga and all the folks in the mac help forum for prolonging my borrowed time on this game.
I do enjoy the AE missions that I've played, though I tend to run with the guest author and dev choice ones, mostly. Tickets are a nice bonus, but up until the 40s, I like getting the random salvage chances... and I also hate to miss out on the merits you can get from the in-game story arcs (they really do start to add up).
So I tend to do the AE stuff with my 50s, actually. Works out pretty well. Anyone run the newer guest author missions? They sound like they'd be pretty good, and the last ones were pretty interesting (though I'm not all into the lolbat stuff, heh).
