Quote:Ah, I must have been thinking of Experienced, rather than the XP Boosters.False. It gives you +25% XP gained for a one hour time limit, not a set amount of patrol XP.
As to whether or not it works in AE, I don't know for sure, but I think I heard some reports that it actually does. Why not test it out on the beta or test server and let us know? -

Quote:Maybe in Britain, but in the US, no store is legally obligated to offer refunds, and a no refund sign, while considered good form, is not required at all.If you still have your receipt, and the item is not broken, you should be able to get a refund.
It's called buyers remorse, and officially, they can't even ask for a reason.
Stores must have a sign in their store saying "No refunds" or "All sales are final." I do not see one in the Paragon Store. -
Quote:You know that's not how it normally works, right? We don't have any numbers yet. Fearsome Stare for corrs (same buff mods as trollers) is -15% tohit base. Buff mods for doms is lower. That and this Fearsome stare will be in a control set not a debuff set, it is unlikely that the -tohit will be as powerful in dark control as it is in Dark Miasma

Quote:For someone who critiques everyone else's writing, you sure as hell don't know what "dearth" means. No, we don't. We don't have enough 40-50 material and we never will. The endgame is where everyone ends up and we will always want more things to do at it.
It's a scarcity of something, by the way. -
Quote:You are aware that the ignore spammer function automatically creates that same petition, right?RMT'ing is contra the EULA and therefore a petition offence. Rather than wait for a day I petition every RMT'er I witness and they are zapped by a GM usually within 2 mins, sometimes up to 10 mins. Use ignore as spammer, I don't care, I merely speed up the process. It is ok to do that.
Folk who wish to be the GM's email filters make me laugh. -
You shouldn't delete this. You should have edited your post to add the solution you found so that others looking for it could find it instead of having to post themselves.

I'm calling bull on the "need" for this if you're deployed. I have a few friends (as in people I know in "meatspace", to clarify) who play this game and are military. And they never felt the need to buy inf to "catch up" for IOs. They just learned to market like the rest of us.
And the point about potentially funding US enemies is entirely valid. A Chinese RMT company is likely at least partially connected to the Triads or other organized crime. And organized crime, especially in a country with somewhat lax law enforcement like China, is not entirely picky about who they do business with. And China is in a perfect place, geographically, to end up funneling weapons and/or money through to insurgents in Afghanistan (though I'd bet it's more likely to be the Russian mob that does most of the organized crime to terrorist laundering). -
Why would it need to be changed? Why not just treat every mission like a defeat all? Nothing's stopping you (except a timer in some cases, but that's neither here nor there.)

Quote:Those two sets I bolded are buff/debuff sets and will never ever be blaster sets.I had tried to make a blaster a few days ago and found i just did not as the secondary sets just did not fit too good. This may need the most done for power proliferation as there are very few of them, were on the villain side there are many more.
A sonic set would be nice, but to expand on this adding in kinetics, radiation, and storm may be easier than others. Ii thought would really be awesome Blaid, thorn, spine and katana the last four because the secondary sets have melee powers in them. Would love to have a pistol sword blaster on this line a single pistol blaster with less gun fu like movement would be good as well. Not getting off topic, We need more secondary sets for the blaster.
that's my 2 copper -
Quote:That doesn't make sense, because the idea behind Hero patron pools is giving heroes a patron pool they can access as easily as villains can. And yes, they should be different. Right now, if I want my level 45 Hero Tanker to grab Soul (because it fits her concept), I have to switch sides temporarily to grab the patron pool. On the other hand, if a villain wants to grab, say, Olympian Mastery (from Ms. Liberty), they would have to do the same work a hero has to do to grab a villain PPP. That is parity.I do mind if the total work involved in getting a hero patron is easier and faster than going villain and coming back. I do mind if the powers are different because then you're opening up the exact same problem for villains, and it becomes a 'screw you, I got mine' concern.

Quote:That's the thing. You're asking for the heroes to win throughout. Now, when that happens, it's a boring story. But when you happen upon the villain, nearly done with his plan, and about to complete it, and the heroes pull through then? That's a story. If the heroes kept winning, you wouldn't have kept playing the big thing, because you wouldn't have been hooked in.Very well, I'll admit heroes were outplayed here. I'd prefer it if villain victories over heroes were limited to PvP (and vice versa, no arresting player villains either), but whatever. Well done. Still, let me quote one of my favorite lines of all time "You lost today, kid. But that doesn't mean you have to like it." And I'll be damned if I don't spend at least a dozen posts grumping about it

Quote:I find myself agreeing with this. I feel like, so long as there isn't a very good reason for the set not to work with a particular weapon, any purchased weapon sets should have an option for every weapon powerset. And in addition, when a new weapon powerset comes out, it should also have matching weapons for sets that are already out (e.g. Barbarian/Celestial/Vanguard Titan Weapons), and those who bought the sets should receive them automatically.Since apparently we've got some time since they figure out the billing/reward token issues, can we get the costume guys to give us a Celestial Bow and a Celestial Katana? Don't know why these two weapon sets didn't get them in the first place, but they'd be nice to have. just tack them on to the current weapon pack, so that people who have already "bought" them don't have to pay for them.

Not really. Every time I've gotten the badge, it was on a 7-8 person run.

No it isn't. Look at the power statistics in game on KO Blow. KU is a separate statistic from KB, it's just that anything that has/grants KB protection or resistance also grants the same amount of KU protection or resistance.

Quote:Actually, Numina is still alive, she's an astral projection of herself, and her body died. So it's still possible to kill her.I love that Numina is on that list. It's always struck me as funny that she's one of the "Surviving Eight" given that her whole schtick is that she didn't survive, but now they've gone it one better on the silliness scale by dangling the possibility that she May Be Killed to gin up suspense for WWD.

Quote:That ain't how it works. Adding a new animation to a power is the animation department. Changing the stats of a power is the powers team. Spending time making new animations takes minimal to no time from the ability to change the power.Because... If time is spent giving different animations to jab... then less time is spent... on making powers like jab viable... which is a change I'd rather be implemented first... You need... to understand... that every single thing... that takes time to do... takes time from something else...

Quote:Actually, the belief that cursing is in and of itself a sign of a childish, small vocabulary is childish itself. As your vocabulary expands, you find that a properly placed curse word functions much like an additional piece of punctuation, adding a punch and emotion to your statement that would not be there without it. It's a bit like adding hot peppers to something you're cooking. The right amount adds a nice punch, but too much overwhelms it.Still, I'll leave this thread for the purpose it was created, I have no wish to participate with people that feel they need to swear it's childish, just a tip but when you get older you will find swearing at people isn't the be-all and end-all, take your time I'm sure you can find better wording to come across with.

And you ignored that AR already has that distance, and AR/Energy has access to Boost Range.

Quote:You do know that villains can access APPs now, right (other than VEATs)? Have been able to since Going Rogue.Having Hero equivalents to Villains is a good thing, but no matter how you do it it either requires a lot of time on Devs part or isn't equitable to players.
If you make all new arcs for Heros and/or powers that is time that can't be spent on something else. As has been pointed out if you add 4 more pools to Heros who already have twice as many pools Villains won't be pleased, unless Devs spend time on another whole round of rebalancing. -
Quote:Have you ever been playing a speed-boosted Super Reflexes, Electric Armor, or VEAT, especially in blue caves? Especially on the VEAT (who may be built for range, and thus "hitting f" is not a valid option), that speed can easily be unmanageable when combined with the other speed buffs they have inherently (and no, skipping the inherent speed buffs in those sets is not an option, as they also provide a nice recharge buff and recharge debuff resistance). Movement speed buffs are not unilaterally good.Letting people turn off speed boost's movement buff is not a buff to speed boost. I never said that and I will never say it because it's silly. Speed boost is more powerful when you receive its entire buff. The fact that some people don't understand that and dislike the movement portion shows that some people wouldn't know a good thing if it bit them on the rear. I have never even contemplated turning off the movement buff of speed boost because I long ago took the time to understand and take advantage of its value.

That's not how it works. Defenders have better buff/debuff mods than corruptors, who have better mods than blasters. So defenders would have the better debuffs. The whole "primary is better than secondary" is a bad rule of thumb.

Quote:Probably selling his DfB SOs, as well.Given the price of DOs, it seems he's spent around 500k on DOs, and has 300k inf leftover. At level 15. I'd call that an impressive feat without selling salvage or having a sugar daddy. I currently have a level 17 character who hasn't purchased any enhancements. That character has 110k influence before I grab the influence earned from the salvage sold in the auction house. And after, about 140k influence. From doing DfB and some missions. Quite a disparity in numbers there. I couldn't even buy all the DOs once, let alone thrice. Is it any wonder I don't buy any until level 22 and SOs unless absolutely necessary?
