Because the devs are nice like that.
Also, just about every toon can have a reason to need a freespec because of new APP/Patron pools to use. Tanks now have a reason to slot their first attack (bruising). -
Think it might have anything to do with the servers being on medium to high load? instead of the normal low load?
-
No this character is level 50.
I mainly posted the info because of the people saying "Don't know if this has been said, but I'm kinda hoping that they implement a similar feature in Paragon and the Rogue Isles." and any other sentiment.
It might not be a big deal for squishies or lowbies with only 2-3 toggles and a travel power, but for some toons, it can take ages to retoggle.
Edit: I understand the reasoning for the power suppression, and if I stayed standing at the markets for any length of time, I would use a power suppression room. However, much of my marketeering happens after a TF, when I just dump all the temp powers and junk onto the markets for 1 inf a piece. I would rather it not take the same amount of time to retoggle as it takes to list my stuff. -
There are several words that completely escape my ability to even try to figure out what they are.
grphisme.... I have no idea
_ All the attack must be stop moving. Indeed with the blaster irradiating there no attack can be launched simultaneously moving and this is very unfortunate.
... All the attack must be stop moving... ok this I can sort of understand... Rooting on the animation. This is so that the animations look real. Not much use for cool animations if they look stupid while people are running around. (seeing Sands of Mu animate as people are running) At least we have very few powers that interrupt, unlike many games where almost every spell casted needs to be channeled in some way.
"Indeed with the blaster irradiating there no attack can be launched simultaneously moving and this is very unfortunate."
Having a very hard time with this one.... are you saying its bad that you cannot use several attacks at the same time? Show me a game that lets you cast several powers, spells, attacks at the same time !?
finte?....
_ In addition, allowing finte attack or cons attack there are not much. every character of every class should have at least one.
Are you saying that every one should have attacks?
_ There is no personal attack strategy.
Melee ATs go to melee, Ranged stay ranged. Controllers Control. Supporters support......>.>
_ No skill tree
Thank GOODNESS there isn't a skill tree.
In a word, the gamplay is pretty poor, so I hope to remedy qu'Ncsoft think.
Yes, it does rather look like a mistranslated post 0_0... I wonder if the guy can understand our replys... if he can't why did he translate and cross post? -
The level that the slot was placed.
If you have not downloaded Mids here is the link for it. Might help explain a few things, as well as help you create your own builds.
That is why the first one is always (A). because when you choose the power, it comes preloaded with one slot.
Level 2: Smashing Blow -- C'ngImp-Acc/Dmg(A), C'ngImp-Acc/Dmg/Rchg(45), C'ngImp-Dmg/EndRdx/Rchg(45), S'ngH'mkr-Dmg/EndRdx/Rchg(46), -
I know on my Dark/EM tank I can easily spend 15-20 seconds toggling up. I only have 8 toggles.
Dark Embrace ...........: .67 seconds
Murky Cloud..............: 1.17 seconds
Obsidian Shield..........: 1.17 seconds
Cloak of Darkness.......: 1.17 seconds
Tough......................: 3.1 seconds
Weave.....................: .67 seconds
Death Shroud............:3.47 seconds (roots as well)
Cloak of Fear.............: 1.17 seconds (roots as well)
And Super Jump or Combat Jumping (no activation, but still needs to be toggled)
Added up we get : 15.27 seconds of toggling, that is not taking into account server ticks, or making sure to queue the next toggle. -
I really enjoyed my Ice/Storm controller.
-
I think more of like TK thrust and Mind Probe as Psi Melee.... maybe that's because in a way, it is.
-
Energy Damage =/= Psionic Damage
Looks more like Kinetic Effects, not Psionic Effects.
If you are going to argue that you can color it pink and make it look like psi, then the same can be argued for Energy Melee, Elec Melee, Dark Melee. -
My Bus interface has changed again to PCI x16 @ 8 and I have begun to experience the same lag in large mobs. Any suggestions to switching it back to PCI x16 @16 or is this just a sign of a dieing vid card. I have not messed with the video card settings or drivers.

I would say there are some things that could be coined as 'end game content'. There are certainly things that I really only do on my 50's.
Cavern Of Pain, Hamidon raids and Mothership Raids come to mind as raids. Also the Statesman Task Force, Lady Grey Task Force, Lord Recluse Task Force, Baracuda Task Force are all things that are usually done by 50's. And I usually only badge hunt and do flashbacks on 50s, but that can be done at any level really. -
Fighting Yellows? :O just about ANYTHING can do that ....
I would suggest a Fire/WP for easy leveling, Elec/Elec might also be fun as you level. Elec/SD can be a real power house if you put in the time to build it right and IO it. -
Heroic? as in a nice guy who always smiles at the bad guys and yells funny jokes at the enemies? you can do that on any AT and power set. Helpful kind of heroic? try a defender.
Want something that can stay a live against just about all odds, Stone tanks are for you. If you want to actually be able to kill something in less than 10 minutes, try a Shield tank.
Care about damage more than keeping the team a live? try a scrapper.
By saying you want a bad-*** character, you are being rather vague. If you want survival above all else, choose a tank. If you want to be able to kill stuff while being hard to kill, but still don't care too much about having the best damage, choose a brute. If you want to be able to kill just about anything but also be able to take some hits for the team, choose a scrapper. -
NOW we know why he thought what he thought.
(In low levels, if the mobs had a 100% to hit, they would NEVER miss, :I. Ever notice mobs NEVER missing?) -
Defense toons get DDR, Resistance toons do not.
Just about every mob I can think of does some sortof DDR. Any Gun or Sword attacks lowerd defense, most Stone or Earth powers do as well. Some Psi damage likes to do -Def
This is one reason why Defense sets benefit more from Defense bonuses than Resistance based, they won't loose as much when debuffed.
Also, if you can softcap a resistance based set to all three positions, or all 6 types (excluding psi cause that is rather hard to do) and say it is NOT gimped I would like to see it.
I even believe that if you just softcap S/L, while you will do fairly well, you still won't be overly more sturdy than a defense toon. -
I dono 'bout a lot of people >.> but I already have all my IOs except for a Kin Combat trio, and 4 purples for my Kin/EA brute. So anything I get now, is fair game to sell.
-
Cancer knows more than I do about PvP builds, so take his advice (PC Guy). But yes, regen is pretty tough with DP up, so try to get perma DP. I chose Panacea because with Doctored wounds you wouldn't be perma hasten. And the Char, Im not too sure why I slotted with hold, it does good damage =)

Gona cost WAAAAY more than 1.5 bill, but here you go =) +rech is the way to go with a /Regen

Helps to add enhancements to characters, makes them do stuff better. So try enhancing your toon, might help.
-
IIRC they changed some of the powers.
Not completely sure about Power boost, but I know for brutes and stalks, instead of conserve power in the body mastery, they get some auto power that grants 5 extra endurance.
