Meatsheilding is fine and all. I have an ice tank that pretends to do damage while others kill everything off me, but I had high hopes for the katana/stone brute. I don't know what I was thinking. As if having a katana in my hand would make the slowness of a /stone go away.
Stone is what it is. I don't think it's broken, but I'd rather be the guy casting the SB on the stoner than the stoner himself. -

Ice/Time was sad because even with 6 confuse DO's in arctic air, the confuse duration and overall effect was pitiful. I guess people love the 50 proc in it, but until then the confuse part is crap. The slow and afraid is good. But like with fire, the group will scatter and you will have your end sucked from you.

Time we accept that AE is used pretty much entirely for farming. For a quantitative assessment of the claim I suggest you take a look at a farming AE map and see the 999+ 5 star votes and then take a look at any non-dev pick non-farm map and see the 0-5 votes total cast by the creator and his friends. -

How is the AT flawed? Even the powerset is fine. You could just not spend all your time in Granite. Make yourself reasonably secure without it, and Superspeed around between mobs. Granite up as necessary.

Incorrect. They don't have slots of their own, but they most definitely benefit from other enhancements; to get maximum performance out of Ninja / Beast Run, you need to run Sprint (increasing the effective End cost substantially), slot Sprint, slot Swift, and slot Hurdle.
