Quote:Not being able to pay rent is a side-effect of them restricting the use of the SG Registrar so preemies can't create SGs. You also cannot exchange inf->prestige as a preemie, or look at the server list of super-prestigers.Honestly, if he were talking about editing vs not editing, I'd have a little more sympathy. It's more involved. It's the sort of thing that would be seen as a privilege. And I actually *could* see that getting stuck behind VIP as a perk (as it is, IIRC, a Premium with the right rights or level can edit still.) But *paying rent?* Really?
I think the easiest way around this is to create a little kiosk you can buy with prestige or make with salvage, which you can place in any room in the base (including entry way), where you can pay rent. Leave the SG registrar alone, don't implement silly licenses. That way preemies are still restricted from creating SGs/granting bases to SGs who don't have them, but existing supergroups are not required to look outside their ranks for a veep to keep the power on. -
sad face I cannot go and have SanFran touristy time with Tony

More visibility wouldn't be bad. I don't think I want something big hovering over them though.
Bodyguard is a separate effect, and depends on more than just how far away a pet is (it also requires a specific attack mode). -
Quote:Nope. The game doesn't alter your "real world" (errr, "virtual world") character model until you accept changes within Icon. Until you accept the changes, everything is reversible, even if you are wearing something invalid.I thought changed/deleted pieces were removed if you so much as opened the tailor window, whether you accepted the changes or not. I think that happened to a few of my oldest characters when I went through a deleting spree before I unsubscribed for Freedom.
If the game altered your "real world" character model in real-time, you'd see a lot more amusing sights at Icon as people try on different clothes. -
With 8 hero merits in inventory, it sounds like the OP should certainly have access to the hero merit reward at the end of the arc.

The German Shepherd is available on the market for 500pp (direct purchase).
The Black Wolf is available on the market for 80-infinity pp (Super Pack #1 very rare random chance). -
Quote:I don't know if you've ever looked, but CoH DVD boxes (the ones that award Slide, the hero cape, and the VIP badge) regularly list for $50+ on eBay and Amazon and the like. I've even seen some completed sales at $80+ on eBay.I honestly doubt anyone paid extra for a copy of the game JUST for Power Slide;
Now, this is a combination of a gated badge (and badgers are rabid) AND a nifty sprint power, and a cape that most people forget about so it's pretty inconsequential in the scheme of things, and some physical stuff that is mostly out of date junk. So it's not entirely Slide's fault that the price is so high.
But people regularly pay more now than when the box was brand new on the shelves, sometimes twice as much, for three fake items.
Don't assume things about people's weird quirks when it comes to this game and its 'stuff'. -
http://cit.cohtitan.com + http://cit.cohtitan.com/sentinel
Sadly it will only work if everyone you know uses Sentinel (which requires Windows or Windows for Mac using BootCamp). Easiest way to do it is to gather up a page of everyone's avatar/signature banners so that it's a dynamic list of who's online. -
Quote:They fixed that too Most insane-travel missions were edited to saner door locations.... and that one stupid mission that reliably sent you aaaaaaaall the way across the map (TY, Self Destruct, for the quick return trip!)
You can't see it now unless you have the contact's mini arc, since you don't get the old contacts anymore. (I don't think they're even in Flashback because they're not legit story arcs.) -

It's not under manage, it's a "Convert" link on the actual enhancement tray.

I also randomly got an extra token this month. Put in my final pip in Tier 8 this afternoon, about two weeks ahead of when I've been getting them the last two months. We'll have to see if I get another one in two weeks to see if it's truly an "extra", or if it's just mistimed (after having fixed itself in December).

No, I'm pretty sure I remember them saying that too.

If it procs, yes. It's not a guaranteed chance except at two of the levels (total radial and radial flawless).

A better list would be found by looking for the contacts instead:
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Category:Contacts
The contacts are listed by zone, by level, by hero/villain/praetorian, a bunch of different ways. -
I am all for a visual indicator! If not a word under status, then an icon in the pet's buff list, perhaps a different color version of the supremacy icon.
-
No worries, by "recent updates", I really do mean recent! Issue 22 for the first set of changes and the first patch after I22 for the second set. Really recent!

You can find every NPC in the game in City of Data, but getting that information is like pulling teeth. I have no idea where to find any of the iTrial enemies.

Quote:Not after the recent updates It's pretty lovely now.I have a grav/ta controller who is great fun to play on teams but I find him tedious to solo.
/kin would make combat go faster (heh), but grav is pretty lackluster at generating damage.
change part one and part two! -
Yes, leaving the reward window up until the timer expires works. It allows you to choose a reward and resets the timer so you'll have 20 hours from that point to wait for another choice.

I typically don't. Easier and faster to get that first level in Atlas/Mercy.
