  1. Never ever listen to the average wait time.

If you're not getting in via jumping into the queue, then just pre-form. It only takes 3. Or announce in LFG you're queued, usually prompts more folks to jump in
  2. It doesn't have to be amazing, it just has to not suck.

I would honestly rather have the devs spend their time bringing up the low end outliers (cough, blasters, useless powers, etc) than trying to curb what's "over the top".

Why does it need to be explained? It isn't like "you" can be at two places at once, so as far as "you" are aware, they just happen to be there when you show up there.

Makes you wonder what the 5th power is going to be for the pool then if they're filling them all out like the travel pools.

Ya it'd be nice for corrupters/defenders to get an APP Defense Shield.

Oh and maybe just plain more options for flavor at the very least, Natural is a very hard origin to get epics for. Not that it stopped me, but, still, it would've been nice to have an option.

Yes, and implied they're doing something -else- instead. Which is probably just going to be adding more Ancillary pools, but we'll see I guess!
  9. They also made a point to answer the question about 'hero patron pools'.

So I think the pool party is going to be interesting for all levels.
  10. It's also the first and atm only Ranged set that uses a stacking power system.

If true that needs to be said in game somewhere, because the Black Knights are centuries old.
  12. For my beast time I'd fire off a heal then try to lock down the offending critters via my ST hold. Usually worked okay, but yeah, some of the Night Ward critters can be hard on pets.
  13. When I23 went into beta someone looked through the files and found the test files for all three sets. At the time, Bio armor was referred to as Symbiotic Armor. it was strictly a concept name and has been changed.
  14. Given the frequency they've been popping up, that's pretty doubtful.

I'd rather see a revamp. The finale is just... bad, absolute tedium.

At worst, I'd just say shave the time between waves.
  15. Well I think his suggestion was removing a duration and just making them like Controller pets.

Voltaic, at the least, is the way it is because it's untargetable. Giving it a 'permanent' duration would.. not exactly be overpowering but it would basically just be a permanent damage increase because you'd just have this floating ball of damage following you around (though conversely, it'd be an even worse aggro magnet). To turn it into a 'normal' pet it'd have to become one that's targetable, has HP and related stats.

The other answer is just that Blasters aren't designed to be pet ATs. I kind of agree that I'd like to see them turned into normal pets but I don't think it fits within Design's guidelines for what blasters do or don't do, they're already very out of the ordinary powers for Blasters.
  16. There's no such thing as 'water' damage. Water blast's damage is typed Smashing/Cold and Smashing/Fire respectively. Fires are -only- affected by Cold damage. So yes, any attack in Water Blast that's typed as Smashing/Cold can put out the Steel Canyon fires.

That totally answers the question. Ice does cold damage. Most of the water attacks do cold damage. The fires are hurt by cold damage. Fire damage is not cold damage. End of question.
  18. Which really can't happen, because after killing Serene the Mistress Maria arc makes it pretty clear we're pulling Katie out of the Seer network -right away-.

yeah like that has stopped people before.

10 to 1, at least -one- thread will pop up asking when its coming between then and now.
  20. Necro or demons is good for thematic reasons.

But ya have to go with the prevalent opinion. Dark is just that useful it can go well with about any primary and it'll keep your pets going. The heal is strong (albeit that it can miss) and there are just a -lot- of worthwhile utility powers.
  21. I say make way for my Water/Rad Corruptor, the Soda Jerk!

    New Player. Lost

I'm pretty sure when he says he finished Habashy and Twinshot, he meant he finished Thiery's finale, as you actually speak to Habashy to end it.
  23. So open the LFG tab and see which one is highlighted in purple, that's the actual WST.
