Night Ward a MMs Nightmare?

So let me say this is not a complaint thread or rather -I- am not complaining I enjoy challenges.

So i am working on my new project my Bots/Traps ( I LOVE her by the way!) and I get to Night Ward...Wham Ice storms, -movement, -recharge, Fireballs I am not even sure what else I was to busy screaming at my Monitor for my Assault Bot to move! while it struggled with Negative movement and being hurdled in the air like a broken toy! The narrow corridors makes AoE positioning problematic at best! It feels like the Devs said "AHhahaha pay for your past sins of being great, Masterminds!"

As i said i am not complaining, for me it is simply learning new tactics something I have felt the Mastermind AT is really all about.( not to mention if i do start to QQ I will just take my happy bottom over to Croatoa!) But I feel bad for new players that take this path Seems like level 29-30 is early for AoEs and auto hits?

Has anyone run these new Arcs with a fresh MM?

What kind of tactics do you use indoors(caves narrow halls) with AOEs? Fir my /Pain and /Dark out doors and in large spaces I just moved them out of the way in narrow corridors and caves I healed and.. well prayed.

For my beast time I'd fire off a heal then try to lock down the offending critters via my ST hold. Usually worked okay, but yeah, some of the Night Ward critters can be hard on pets.

As a Beast/Dark, I found NW just challenging enough. I usually sent my pack against the worst minion while I petrified the lieu, then let them clean up. I definitely don't BG mode while in AoEs at this level.
