Good. Looks like it redirected all your desktop shortcuts. I guess that makes it more "user friendly" sheesh.

Ok can you start the ncsoft launcher normally from the folder where it is installed (not the desktop shortcut)?

That's because exe's should only be associated with each individual program.
Can you check the properties of the shortcut you use to start coh where is it pointing to? -
If it was file extensions wouldn't all of his exe file icons have changed?

One day I decided I wanted to get A-merits on one of my characters. He was a fire brute so I sped through the 5 tips on the second day fine but then the Alignment mission refused to drop. I waited a day and then hunted gray mobs and nothing and then did 7 radio missions without success. I became frustrated and annoyed everyone on my favourite chat channel and then /bugged it and posted on the forums in one of the many "Tips aren't dropping" threads. The next day I got the "passed your problem to someone else.." email and grumbled and went back into the game and remembered that it was my second account and I hadn't got GR for it yet.
That's how I learned that 2boxing is complicated. -

It won't be necessary any more due to all the new abilities and qol improvements available (like zone tp, /ah, increased slots and inventory space).
The question was answered so I threadjacked a bit. -
Freedom already has a lot of qol improvements for crafting (/ah, increased storage (as long as you have access to them or willing to pay for them of course)) and it doesn't look like there will be any base improvements coming.
The craft all button is a great idea especially since we will be able to hold up to 30 enhancements at a time. -
I'll probably be shutting down my bases and stopping all prestige earning after freedom hits. And retiring my second account.

It's a personal item so when you see the tabs in the entrance room you need to pick the "place personal item" option.
Then you need to go back into edit base to place the beacons
.

Your fine with SO's go to pd and join up for a lot of baf trials and use your money to get physical xp.
However tell anyone who asks that you have standard io's because they don't understand that this game is based around SO's. -
I'd say ff. Therm is more than fine for general pve play but the gw guys do split up a lot and can be difficult to heal.

Well the ghost maps were around before and they had to introduce the /sync command as a temporary fix but the empty powers is new. Hopefully it's just related to the server upgrades and should go away after freedom launches

Welcome to the forums. DON'T use this build it's way too old. There are no restrictions to travel powers or origin as far as choosing powers. Origin affects which type of Single Origin or Dual Origin enhancements you will need to get later in the game.
There is a big change coming to the game in 1 or 2 weeks which will allow you to choose whichever travel power you like at lvl 4 so just go with whichever scrapper sets you like. -
That's a complicated question. I don't use defense much but I have dabbled in io's and sets and this wiki page will tell you what sets can give you. Right now you need to carefully look at the different power sets and their info to make sure you will have what you want once you reach 50.

Zwillinger said in the last ustream that the release date was planned to be the 1st but they had problems with some of it and they did not want to launch unless everything was working properly.
