  1. You are aware that all the wardens are combinations of currently existing ATs, right? And playing a nully = AR/ Blaster.

They'd need some pretty sick extra powers to compensate, otherwise why would I play this and not, a Spines/Regen with a clever costume called 'Spiney Warden'?

You see! You're a non-rper, and even you feel it! It's an invasion of personal space!

Except it isn't *really* is it? . I'm just an overly touchy person, who is a bit awkward w/personal contact irl...so i find it eerie when replicated onscreen

Most people don't consider it something that irks people that much. Heck, I didn't until i read this.

    (*unmacros dance6, drumlow, alakazamreact*)

Edit: though from a non-rp POV, and this may just be me, but I do find it very eerie when people walk right up to your character, almost treading on your toes. I kinda wanna say 'mind stepping back, please', in local...but the ol' english passive-aggressive-polite nature of mine means i just find another spot to balance my /em wallllean

Okay, this is pretty odd... I keep going into hide mode. A lot. I type /hide, check everything is off, and it still says I'm hidden sometimes, or I'll check again and hide things will be on...

What the hell is going on?! I never had this problem back in the old days of /hide and /globalhide!

    [/ QUOTE ]

I keep sending tells to global friends on their handles, and getting the '@theirname may be offline or hidden', and they're really, really not.

quite a few of them now, is it similar to this?
(note, that when i use their toon name, they aren't 'hidden')

Why aren't there more "kill" badges?

    It's fine having ones for 50 or 100 kills, but how about 1000, 10000, 100000, 1million?

Why just specific mob types, why not for every mob type? Bosses, Lieutenants, Minions, the lot!

    Why not?

Have fun trying to get the 1,000,000 Rogue Isles Police boss badge!!

Well, my only real beef with PUG's at the moment seems to be the insistance to do Newspaper missions instead of anything else that's remotely more interesting.

    Sad because its true sometimes...

    [/ QUOTE ]

I admit not all of the time, but *most* of it. That and incompitent/rude players puts me off PuGs most of the time.

Having said that, my duo partner and I have started to PuG our /Trappers (Dark/Traps corrs). Brilliant fun, when they play by our rules and use positioning/tactics instead of charge atfter 'the Bruter-tanker-god-man'.

I only fully enjoy story content solo, or with a group of close ingame friends. It's very rare that a pug gives a damn what it means that the office is full of nemesis automations, or that the fortuata you just escorted out is going to be tortured to death...so long as they get their XP

Not so much for PvP but maybe a little - Powers i have are Nin/Nin and only pool powers i have are Fitness (3 pwrs), Leaping (3pwrs) and Recall Friend (cos it is handy! Thx

Then taking Phase shift instead of stamina will make you cry, somewhere down the line

They're the entire reason i'm going DB on my brute!!
  13. [ QUOTE ]
I saw mentioned somewhere in a Stalker thread mention of Phase Shift. I have never used this power before and can see it's uses but if I was to take it I would have to lose the Fitness set. I have survived to lvl 44 without Stamina but was wondering if it is worth ditching the whole fitness set to go for Phase Shift instead??

    Any thoughts would be welcomed

    [/ QUOTE ]

    For PvP?

Dropping fitness = less unsupressed movement (essential), less Regen (on a stalker, bloomin helpful), less recovery (on any toon, essential).

It's your call, but what's the other pool that isn't travel, that's so essential that FITNESS was the one you opted for dropping?

Soloing w/o stamina (if you're WP or Regen, okay, it takes the edge of somewhat) =/= PvP stalking

    Kinda rude

    [ QUOTE ]
It's not that exactly it's just seems bad manners to hit me with a bot message that makes very little sense under the circumstances, just cos it says server closed in 5 mins somewhere in it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I do understand where you're coming from, however...this is *exactly* the sort of thread that would have emerged, if the crippling problem re: incorrectly flagged trial accounts had gone unnoticed.

This seems like complaining for complaining's sake, much rather they dealt with it quickly, than the problem remaining and the same thread happening after that

The alternative would be, stay with me on this as it's a pretty wild and radical notion, just leave missions as they are and stop looking for ways to screw other players because they don't like their definition of enjoyment.

I ageee, I'm not going to log in if I get half of everything.

    [/ QUOTE ]

But if you don't log in, you won't get anything at all.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Just like any other day, difference being that if I wait and play on a 'normal day', I will only have to do a mission once, for the xp needed to advance, not 2. It all adds up. Like i said in my post, I do like the idea, but playing devil's avocate can reveal how drastically unpopular this would be

    Hardcore Weekend

    [ QUOTE ]
We've had the Double Rewards and they do seem to be a big draw, but there are some amongst us who appreciate things a bit tougher.

So how about this as an idea (I don't know how doable it is so don't shoot me for the mechanics )

Hardcore Weekend: Half XP, Half Prestige, Half Inf, Double Debt

At the end of it, you get a very nice Accolade called "Hard Man/Woman" or similar, giving you a +5% end bonus or similar.

To achieve the accolade, you need to bring your toon through 5 tough missions and get the badge for each one and maybe some new plaques etc, maybe including stuff like MoST, or LGTF etc and maybe an Ouroboros mission or two that are specially crafted for the occasion.

(Which also means you can't just log your toon and loaf for the weekend.)

I guess it would be possible to make this optional if poss, so that only those who sign in for the Tough Weekender get the rewards and those who decline don't get it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Highlighted the most important bit.

while never being one to turn an accolade down, and one who hates DXP, I do like this idea...but I can only see it as being the emptiest weekend ever (it would make peak time Vigilance look busy). Who wants to log in and play, knowing that everything they do gives them half the reward of a normal day (effectively making you 'waste' double the time trying to get anywhere)

Basicaly: A tray that is automaticaly switched to when going into Nova or Dwarf form.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I don't want my tray to switch. Guess i can write a 'suggestion' after such a change takes place anyway.

there are lots of guides already about Macros, which will help with shapeshifting issues. And don't use 'macros aren't helpful to new players' as a retort - 'new players' shouldn't be playing Khelds, and they're meant to be difficult in the beginning
