I havent dug though all of this forum yet but I wanted to sound out on a issue im having.
I just got Gang War, and Im a little bit disappointed with it.
1) They are dumber then rocks. They wont attack unless they are attacked. Even if I send them on a MOB, the mob will come after me and ignore them.
2) If you spawn them on grey mobs, same effect. They will just stand around.
3) The 90-120 second duration seems a little short for a 10 min recharge timer.
I can kinda understand that this is more of a mass confusion power to confuse people in PVP, but to be honest, if they wont attack anything unless they are attacked 1st, it just makes them worthless. -
My issue is I can get into Grandville with no problem, but whenever I try to do anything that involves a loading screen (Zone out, Mission, Copter). It will go into a sound loop after about 10 seconds, lock up, and give me the error report window.
When I relog, im in the zone I was going to and I can reenter Grandville with no problems.
Now before the 5/3 patch, I couldnt get out of Grandville at all. I wouldnt zone into the new zone even after the crash.
But currently I cannot do any missions in grandville as they involve zoning. -
My question is, what earns you "points" Players only or NPCs as well?
I know if you earn 1000 points you get a heavy temp power, but how on earth do you earn 1000 points. -

Im haveing the same issue...
When I try to zone, either by mission, Base Portal, Ferry, or Copter (when the load screen comes up), it goes into a sound loop and then gives you the error report window. -

I was looking around and I was kinda suprized that I didnt see an "attack" guide to Hammie.
Is there a posting somewhere of what is needed to do a Raid? Phases, Trips, Tricks, what powers to use, what powers not to use, etc.
I have done a few raids myself, but I wanted to learn more info on them. -
The 1st time you run through Hammie and die is ammusing, the 5th time is kinda stupid.

I want to expand on this idea a little bit. Being able to teleport from anywhere in an open zone to the base would be a really great feature. Characters below 10 or at the level cap have the option to kill themselves as a very useful means of travel - this is immersion-breaking. If we have the technology to beam me up after I rush Hamidon singing Kumbaya and attempting to give him a hug, we should be able to just beam me up and skip the painful part.
How to implement this? It has to be a temp power. Long interrupt time (10 seconds or so) so it can't get anyone out of combat. Maybe a high endurance cost? The animation could be setting out a ring of little beacons and then some kind of teleport animation.
It seems awfully powerful for this to be an unlimited ability available to all SG members all the time. So...put a little price on it so people have to think before teleporting. 1 first-tier salvage component (arcane for the arcane device, tech for tech) buys a character 10 teleports (or 20, whatever). Everyone gets their own little bank account of teleport charges.

Actually I think it would be better if it was a temp power that only gave you "X" amount of charges. After all a temp power is restricted by either time or charges.
Then the question is "How should it be acquired?"
If they intergrated the worktables to make temp powers, then they can use that.
OR
IF it was something that you can buy from the base, then have it cost soo much.
Now the salvage cost and/or the Infamy cost should reflect the number of charges. If this thing costs like 1-2 salvage parts or like 500 infamy you should only get a 2-3 charges out of it. Of course the higher the salvage cost/Infamy, the more charges.
I do like the idea where your "placing" something like if you had the TRAPS pool. Maybe you can place like a beacon (like one of the Tech Light poles or if you wanted to get spiffy have it show 3 and you get a little "glow" between them all. Give it a 5 second interuptable time, which is 1 sec slower then your "snipe" powers.
This would make it you couldnt be abused in battle and if you did try and get it off it would be a luck shot to no t get him in 5 seconds.
Of course this makes the SS away and dropping this a nice plan. -
Mob Statues

Description:When your SG defeats "x" amount of a mob (say 10,000), you get a statue of that mob that can be placed as a decoration.
Example: Your SG has defeated 10,000 Clockwork Cannon Princes, you get a new decoration that would give you a placable statue in your base. Like a Hall of victories type of look.
This would be simple to apply to Bosses, but also for the bigger bases it would be more interesting to have it apply of ALL mob types, but this would require alot more badge and Base Editing space due to the massive amount of minion/Lt/Boss types.

So wait, im kinda confused by all of this.
So what your telling me that if you went into auto-hide the exact same time that Dull Pain went off, you would never lose HIDE effect?
And on the same note, if you were held or terroized the exact moment that Dull Pain went off you would be "forever" held or terroized?
Am I correct in this thinking? -

Well to be honest, he did say the truth.
A: You do not lose items. Nothing disappears.
B: Nothing does change about your base.
C: Base rent does not incure past the 1st due (will not stack).
So all in all, what was said is true. Just not the whole truth. You are correct that they never stated that we could be locked out of our bases after soo much time. -
Ya know I would love to see some type of "gamble" device on COV.
The odds would have to be tweaked a little as not to imbalance the system. But I think it would be cool. -

Ya know what gets confusing sometimes? Lets say you attack 4 enemies - you AS one, dead. You ET another, dead. You placate the 3rd - He can't see you anymore, but the other still can, yet in Status it says "Hidden", even if you are only hidden to that one guy.

I know what you mean, but unless they make some mob effect that shows which you are hidden too.
I dont know if there is a way to "code" that without issues.
But one of the down sides of stalkers is they are weak against mobs. All you can really do is:
Mob of 4
1: Approach while hidden
2: AS 1st target (3 left)
3: Attack target 2
4: When AS is almost ready, switch targets.
5: Time the mobs attacks.
6: Placid then AS the 3rd target (2 remaining, one at half health)
7: Go back to 2nd target (now at 1/2 health) and finish him off. (1 remaining)
8: One left. You can either duke it out with him, or run off. Usualy I will have placid up about 1/2 way through my fight with him and placid him and get a critical hit and kill him off.
It would be nice if smoke bomb gave you hidden back to the mob, but that would be a little powerful. They would have to jack up the recharge to like 5-8 mins.
