I have been sweeping in Imperial for the last 2 levels.

The guide helped GREATLY. I got contacts now and missions. Thanks for the help.

I have been street sweeping for the last 4 levels. Other then the "invention system" contact, I have had no Contact Missions for the last 4 levels. This is with 2 difference characters (both on loyalist and power storyline)

I only have 4 Contacts and both are inactive. I have tried talked to them with no update. I did submit a ingame petition, but no answer.

My contacts are:
Deputy Assistant of Information
Praetor White
Provost Marchand
Warrant

I am currently Level 12.5, so can someone give me LOC of some contacts I can get some missions from. Since I wasent "directed" to these other contacts, maybe I can still interact with them and get missions.

I would HATE to sweep to 50.

My WS was completely built on the idea of the "Fallen from Grace/Redemption" idea from back in issue 6/7. His whole background is built up on that idea that the world is his to control and that he was placed in this "human shell" as a captive.

I look forward to the whole Rouge idea when I see it, but I need more details on it 1st.

Take this a step farther, having customizable statues that you could place in a meeting room or whatever, to showcase founding members of an SG that are no longer with you.

My personal suggestion was much like this.

Just like some other SG badges, when you defeat x amount of a mobs boss while in SG mode, you get a "statue" to place in your base. IE if you defeat 1,000 or 10,000 Freakshow Tank Busters, you get a statue of a tank buster to place in your base.

This would allow SGs to have a "hall of victories" with all the statues.

This would allow the Devs to expand on the same though and include other mobs like Lts and Minions, but with much higher totals needs maybe you need 1 million for a minion.

But then it could cause a problem with mobs that have multiple bosses like Freaks or Nemi. Do they do a statue for each boss or just one?

Personaly Bases need some MUCH love in regards to form and function.

Ive known ive stated this before, but the biggest thing I want for a base is "trophy room items".

The best example is using the SG badge system where when you kill "X" amount of a factions boss, you get a static statue of that boss.

So if you defeat, say 10,000 or 100,000 Freak Tank Smashers as a SG, then you get a statue of a Freak Tank Smasher that you can place in your base. This could apply to each of the faction bosses, like, Zeus bots, Fake Nemis, Dark Ring MIstresses, etc.


On another note, the bases **NEED** some much over due love. There hasnt been alot of additions to them, and they need some great new items to help out this feature.

I have to admit that your posting is the 1st I have heard about any type of porn emails/tells. Only thing I have ever seen is RMT data.

I have to admit, that if there is a group of people dipping down to porn emails/tells, then these people must be really be getting sad.

Personaly its better to have everyone awake of the feature and be able to disable it, rather then people complaining after its release that there favorite PVP toons stats have been "leaked" or that there friends with "so-n-so".

But ive been waiting for this to be used for a while now.

The only question is what is the default settings.

Im curious on 1 thing that keep bothering me:

Its always mentioned as "Dual Blades", but everyone assume its dual swords.

When I hear Dual Blades I think of:
1) Two swords, like two one-handed swords.
2) Sword & Dagger combo.
3) Polerarm (staff) with a blade on each end.

My train of though would be that stalkers/scrappers would get 2 swords or the sword/dagger style and that Brutes/Tanks would get the polerarm/staff style.

I only mention the polerarm/staff for the brutes cause its hard for me to picture a brute/tank going into battle with 2 swords, but I can see them with a huge polerarm/staff with 2 blades going into battle.

Does anyone know for sure *what* dual blades is?

Well, im kinda based my idea on adult swim's style of commercials. There more informal and easy going.

I understand that we have issues with farmers, but something like this would take at least 2 weeks to make once we get an idea done anyways (ie the fan invasion video took over 2-3 weeks to make and edit).

I think there is several styles we could go with. The best example I could think of was the Cryptic made video for Recluse’s Victory. (Link to WMV file: ftp://ftp.coh.com/movies/recluse_trailer_640.wmv)

I kinda like this cause it shows the 2 different sides of COH and COV, so it shows that appeal for Good vs Evil and I love how it switches between heroes and villains through out.

I was playing around with this idea, sadly I cant get any creative juices flowing to spark an idea.

I was thinking of making up a commercial that could be used for advertisements on TV. The only station that comes to mind would be cartoon network during adult swim. Its the only station that I can think of that would "fit". (Note I only have extended basic cable).

Can anyone think of some ideas for a 30 sec commercial that could be used to advertise the game?

Ya know, im waiting for someone to come up with a really good 30 second clip that could air on Cartoon Networks' Adult Swim. (I only have extended basic cable). I would think that it would fit more with Adult Swim then maybe G4, but ive never really seen G4.

Plus I believe that adult swim would be cheaper to advertise and still get good viewer numbers.

Im chimming in on this late in the game and only skimming through the posts, but I wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

Having a Claw/Regen at lvl 50 myself, I tried using MoG in the beginning and sadly it sucked then and it still sucks now. Im not saying this as "OMG!! MoG sucks. I got pwned!", but the power is flawed.

Mainly MoG was designed when COH was released. Since then there has been several mobs added into the game that adds Psy powers that just by-pass through MoG.

Forget playing in the Shard or against Arachnos or even new Rikti priests. Poping MoG around these mobs is instant death. You drop to 10-25% health, +def against everything but Psy, but you cant heal at all from any source till the power drops.

It would almost be better if it just gave us the bonus w/o the HP drop till the end of the power then have it drop to 10-25% health.

I dont believe it needs a major rework, just a few tweaks. I would be interested to see out of all the /regens in the game, how many actualy have that power choosen? Maybe that is something they can datamine.

Its just a insta-death power in the 40+ game.

I have to admit that one of the best things about COX is the power of the demorecord and the fact that they allow us to ability to play with that.

But back on topic, they have always made excellent "teaser/trailer" videos for the last several issues. I think one of the best "demorecord" was for issue 7.

I can only hope that if/when they make a COH/COV movie they deside to go full CGI and not try and do live action. I think the movie would be better done in CGI rather then do Live action with heavy CGI added to it.

You can use the "Doctored Wounds" in any heal power that you have, BUT any heal power that has a +toxic resistance function in its power, will not gain the benfit of the +4% Heal bonus when you 4 slot this set into a power.

Example:

Any regen scrapper/stalkers will not gain that 4% benfit when they use there self heal in the regen powerset.

If the poison heal (cov) has a +toxic protection in its heal as well, then it will not gain the benfit either.

AWWW....But I assume it will still buff my Intergration and and maybe dull pain...

I just placed Four lvl 50 Doctored Wounds into my Intergration power.

At the 4th enhancement, your suppost to get a 4% bonus to all healing powers. Though when I try and use my self heal, I get no improvement.

I was getting +666 health before I slotted the 4th enhancement, and im still getting +666. (Yes I know how odd it is to have 666 as my heal amount)

Does this "buff" only effect heal other powers?

Im curious of what everyone thinks of an "icon" or symbol when they think of COH and COV.

I know the board uses the "star" for Heros and the Archnos symbol for Villains, but does anyone else have an idea for a better choice?

Im looking at getting some "Challange Coins" made up for myself and SG mates on Hero and Villain side.
