  1. Hey that looks a lot like the build I showed you
  2. Can you post the Data Chunk as well as the Data Link. While the Data Link is convenient, sometimes it messes up and doesn't work.
  3. Your right tek, my bad.

I have both a desktop and a laptop, both have Mids. On my desktop, I have 'Use Arcana Time checked in the settings" but I just updated Mids on my laptop, and forgot to check that checkbox. Calculating with Arcanatime comes tooo.... (Smite = 1.188, Siphon Life = 2.112 == 1.188*2+2.112 = 4.488 seconds.
  4. Smite -> Siphon Life -> Smite -> Midnight Grasp. As for recharge, get Midnight Grasp to recharge in 3.87 (Smite Activation * 2 + Siphon Life Activation) and you should have enough recharge for the other two. Put your purple melee set + a proc in Smite, more chances to proc than the other attacks.

Epic pool blasts will only slow down your DPS for a scrapper (no gloom, sadly).
  5. Were we helpful at all OP? Or did we just hi-jack your thread?

    Any more questions?
  6. You are correct, Dechs. Does not change my opinion however. I feel the -To Hit is more helpful than the mag 2 stun. The mag 2 stun does not effect bosses or LTs, the -To Hit does. Endurance Consumption be damned, in my opinion, Cloak of Fear does a better job at mitigation than OG.

If I wasn't going to slot OG, whats the point of getting it? It only effects minions unless you've got something else that can stack stuns.

This, of course, is all my opinion, and I don't fault any one for taking OG.

    Edit:

This is encroaching on an often argued point. OG, CoF, or Both has been argued to death in the past. It just shows there are two sides of the picture, and people choose one over the other. It's good to have both positions out in the open however.
  7. True. I figured if you are going to do a Spines/DA scrapper, you are focusing on AoE damage, so I tried to slot up AoEs more than ST. I agree, it's not a perfect build, but if you want softcapped defense, there it is.
  8. I like Cloak of Fear better than OG. Just a preferance, but it did get me a good chunk of Smashing Lethal Defense.
  9. The Ragnarok can be easily switched out for the Posi set.
  10. It's just a matter of time, similar to cancer
  11. :/ I didn't think the build was TOO expensive. I do however buy pretty much everything now-a-days with A-Merits though, so I really don't know prices well.
  12. Just decided to throw my hat in the ring, so I fiddled around in Mid's to see what I could do. I was pleasantly surprised. What do yall think (Especially Dechs, the DA master, no offense Desmodos (sp?))

  13. Slot placement levels don't matter when Exemplared.

No. Defense is about as good as a dead blaster in PvP.
  15. I wonder how often developers cringe when they see "We already have X for Y, so it is easy to put X in Z"

It works the way it was designed to and Castle knew how it worked then when they fully tested it.
From what I remember, Shield Charge damage calc went like this.

Random NCSoft Intern: "Hey Floyd, should I make the AT attributes effect the damage of Shield Charge."

Castle: "But of course, silly intern."

    Intern: "OK Mr. Grub."
The Intern then went, copied the Scrapper Damage scaler, and put it in for Shield Charge, for all ATs.
  17. One question I have is does the taunt in AAO offset the fear given by the Fire DoT?
  18. Firstly, be sure to get Mid's Hero Builder.

Nextly, your APP will be your best choice for getting defense. As a corr, your best bet is Mace Mastery -> Scorpion Shield. It will give you a great place to bounce off of. However, you prolly want defense now, at level 28. Grab Combat Jumping, Tough, Weave, Maneuvers. Pop a Steadfast Protection +3% Defense to All in Tough (not that cheap, but easy enough to get with merits.) that should net you some defense, stacked with Shadow Fall from Dark Miasma.

  20. Do tankers not slot their taunt aura for taunt anymore?
  21. You've got 3 PvP IOs in Weave. I would get Hasten over Call of the Wolf any day.

This is what my Kat/Invuln looks like... Soft capped to Smashing/Lethal with one mob in range, and soft capped to everything else when surrounded. Not quite perma dull pain but its close.

    Is this fast?

It's about what I expect an AV solo to take on an Ill/Rad. Especially when you've got all the incarnate goodies.
  23. Would we consider a perma Veng as 'solo'? A dead alt sitting there at its feet isn't 'killing' the GM.
