  1. I started a Sara Moore TF tonight with two newbies tonight. Course, the downtime ended the TF, but one only had the 3mo badge and the other didn't have any.
  2. I don't see it, I see it as a simple link. Firefox 3.5.1 here.

  4. 1. General forum is located here. "City Life - CoH & CoV General Discussions"
    2. Dev/comm digest will be fixed when they are done with the break-in period for new forums.

That marks everything read. All forums.

FW's marks only the one you are looking at read. Everything else stays at their current state.
  6. Verify in your combat attributes that it's listed. Click "powers" on your power tray, then click "Combat Attributes". Expand the "Base" section, then verify what's listed underneath the "Recharge Time Bonus" portion.

Doesn't matter, she's in a co-op zone in an alternate dimension. If she trains heroes, she should train villains, for parity.

Probably the same way they're dealing with the forum: people would get non-unique temporary global names, and then work with support to get it worked out.

I'm not really expecting this to see widespread usage though, since it's more work, and many probably won't know how to do it in the first place.

Since there are many cases where more than one level of quotes can be desirable (2 levels is often good - for instance when replying to someone that's quoting yourself), there will definitely be cases where I'll miss the old (default) multi-tiered quotes.
That's what "multi-quote" is for. The icon between "quote" and "quick reply". Click that on any post that you want to include in your reply, and it will automatically include all selected quotes. Like this one, I clicked on MCM_NA's post and your (Stargazer's) multi-quote icons, then clicked "New Reply". It inserted both quotes into the field (then I deleted a bunch of irrelevant comments from MCM_NA's post)
  11. The old forum used a different linking system. All old forum links will be broken until they are updated.

Eventually a new guide to guides will be written, but it is currently not the most pressing matter at hand.

Just guess's. It does not matter really, most of the things in that version were either place-holders or outright broken.
Water Blast turned into Energy Blast.

Light Control probably ended up being Illusion.

If you have Firefox, the following also works:

1a. Install Firefox. (For those who don't already have Firefox )
    1b. Install Stylish.

    2. Check out this thread by Zombie_Man, showing how to customize the CSS of *just* these forums.

    3. Check out my post in Zombie_Man's thread, showing how to use CSS to change images. (examples given are the "new posts" down-arrow and the "last post" right-arrow)

This makes me very sad in the pants. A kin that does not move in for their own fulcrum shift? That's as silly as a camel wearing a snorkel! Even low damage characters start blazing red-numbered trails at the damage cap.
  17. Change the New Posts Image!

Woohoo! I have been twiddling with this all day long, so here's a great tidbit I've finally figured out!

Copy and paste one of the first two blocks of code to the bottom of the CSS file Z_Man gave above:

    http://docs.google.com/View?id=dcv379dz_0d6r8hcgn

You only need to copy the top one (villain theme) OR bottom one (hero theme), unless you switch between themes.

This gets rid of that tiny, tiny new posts image (8x9 pixels), and replaces it with something a little more substantial (20x20 pixels). You can, of course, edit the code to call any image you prefer, if you want an even bigger image or if you want a different colored image. Just replace "http://i32.tinypic.com/33ur9eo.png" with the URL of your preferred image.

    Change the Last Post Image!

The second block of code changes the little right-arrow by the name/timestamp in the "Last Post" column (between Rating and Replies). Half the time I ended up clicking the person's name instead of the arrow, so I got tired of it.

Again, you only need to copy the top one (villain theme) OR bottom one (hero theme), unless you switch between themes.

Utilizing this, you can change just about every image that the webpage calls, as long as you know the exact src= call (found in the page's View Source).

This is not true. I don't know in which global channel you asked, but whoever responded was wrong. You're supposed to get merits for Hami if you're 45-46. That's the only reward you CAN get for Hami if you're 45-46.

Do you have a space in your channel name? In which case it would need to be:

/chan_motd "Channel Name" Message of the day here

LOL, uh...a URL can be as short as anything, as long as it leads somewhere. Heck, even if it doesn't lead somewhere.

    http://go.to
    ^-- valid URL.

Use the URL special character replacement for the tilde instead, which is "%7e". So, example:

    http://url.com/~name/image.jpg
    turns into
    http://url.com/%7ename/image.jpg

  24. Nice. I took it and did significant editing for my own use, but your base code was fabulous to work off. Thanks!
