New Forum problems

Allright, lets have it here, the good, the bad and the ugly!

I personally have two main issues, first of, it trunkates my avatar picture link.
Secondly, it keeps logging me out .. very annoying.
And yes, I do have cookies enabled.
And cleaned out my temporary internet files.

*grumble*

Also, I hear people all links in old posts are ***** now.

That looks suspiciously like a 100 character limitation.
Obviously a bug.

http://tinypic.com for your avatar. It's not a bug, it's a reasonable limitation to the url length.

What browser (including FULL VERSION) are you using? For instance, I am using Firefox 3.5.1 for WinXP and have no issues being constantly logged out.

And I have solved my other problem, turned out the forum had set the "first time set" stamp on the cookie to 3 of august, 2010. Very strange. I edited it manually, and now it accepts it.

I'm not sure why that limit is there for the URL. I'm also not sure why it doesn't allow ~ characters, which is why I don't have an Avatar.

But....

We do have signature pictures and you can actually upload those. I wonder what happens if you don't fill up all the space? Well.... I know how to find out!

What I meant, was that when you put the upper limit at 100 characters, I'm not sure it's considered URL compliant.
