  1. 1 - (FAIL!)The Sprinkler Rainbow Conspiracy it could be worse. The woman sounds exactly like my sister in law. I don't THINK it's her though... *crosses fingers*

2 - (Awesomely Bad Music Video) The Muppets: Bohemian Rhapsody -this is just awesome though.

    3 - (Animation)A Gentleman's Duel - extremely funny

4 - (KITTEH!!) The Engineer's Guide to Cats - I've just never found this one to my liking
  2. I use Confuse on any character that it's possible to have use it. It's insanely good, my psy/mind blaster always is cloaked in a nice warm fuzzy ball of "lol hit him instead".

Number... whatever we're on, "TURN OFF SPRINT" at low levels, to save yourself those blues. You don't need sprint on. Not inside missions anyway, because remember, every enemy that leaves - with the few exceptions of "don't let them get away" - will come back right to you if you wait it out. It's no rush. Just... turn off the sprint.

I suppose that will become a moot point shortly with Fitness inherent, but who knows how it'll actually affect low-level characters?

    Yeeee!

Some of the things I got are actually still hanging in my living room... Heck this last xmas they were the ONLY decorations I had the heart to put up, since I had some really bad financial issues around then. So it helped me so much to have a pile of cards to fill an otherwise bad holiday season.

    *hugs the server*
  4. Woot, I'll be there.

*runs off to Icon and then to settle in the D*
  5. I suspect that riff was stock at some point, but ... that song is so random and haphazardly put together they may very well have found parts of things they liked and put it to their own lyrics. It's like the song tries to be 13 different kinds of genres all at once.
  6. Legacy options please. As has been pointed out, some costume parts fit their characters better in their older forms and likely there are hundreds of thousands of characters that would change *dramatically*, and not always to their owners' liking, if those options were simply replaced.

I want more options, never fewer.

I really, really want those old flare-top thigh-high boots back. REALLY. They worked great for certain things, and skin-tight thigh-highs while nice, don't fit the look *I* wanted (and I know when they were changed there were plenty who would agree).

More options is always better. I don't care if it means I have to muddle through another menu layer, that's part of the fun of creating a character!
  7. Of course I'm in Probably still going to be an ecard from me, since I still have no money, but hey. I'm in.

Oh and BADGE... I found your ARM.
  8. I want that. I'd go back to school if that was offered.

It really does introduce a LOT of other things to the mix: history, sociology, psychology, ballistics...
  9. I love the kinetic melee sounds. It's like my brute is a one-man speedway. I love the music in this game. I have it downloaded and occasionally playing when I'm just doing something else. I don't really dislike any of the sounds, and I play with headphones and not speakers. Perhaps that may be an issue for the OP? I can see how noisy bits might get annoying, but to me, they are excellent directional and fight cues.

    Fallout basically IS Gamma world....

But jeez, 40 bucks? I'll stick with my original and 2nd ed. Mix and match the rules with Macho Women With Guns, and you've got yourself a rollicking good game.
  11. Happy birthday from me too!
  12. Hmmm. Well I've got many angles available to bring:

    emp with teleport
    ice/kin troller
    fire tank
    db/wp scrapper

    .... any preferences?
  13. Wait, does this mean "worst fave" or... just the remnants? Because I love HLFLC that's for sure. and I don't wanna vote that it's bad or anything!
  14. Oh is it that time of the month again?

    Search. Please.
  15. Okay no, that IS pretty darn cool. Did you get any screenies? I know I'd have been *trying*, but so distracted and amazed at it I would have missed em.
  16. Of late, playing my new kin/electric brute....

    "KAAAAAA MEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAA MEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
  17. Since when has the Department of Redundancy Department led any work groups at Paragon?

That is, if what I think is being announced is still being announced and has not been replaced by an announcement of an announcement to be announced at a later date.
  18. Over the years there have really been a lot of clever names and costume combos.

One of the earlier Green Army Men - I know there are some more recent ones but this one's pretty old.

Then there was Ahnuld 1000 who I saw when Pocket D was first opening up

Then there was Robert Smith, Souxie, and Trent

When COV beta was going on there was this hilarious one, named Ugly Ugly Ugly and I just had to take a screenie.

And doubtless for the OBVIOUS reason this one CAN'T possibly still be around.

Sort of like....gasp dare I say it..... a comic book.

We still get our normal issue updates; but say a 12 month story arc that changes the overall game somehow. Something like 4-6 missions a month. Be like AE but becomes canon. I'd put the cost at say:

All story arcs up front for $15.00 ($1.25 each)
    6 issue arc for $10.00 ($1.67 each)
    Single issue for $2.00

After story arc is finished, then it could be released for replay in Ouro for everyone to experiance, but would no longer change the CoH universe.
... That's more like an entire expansion, say, Going Rogue. Anything that affects more than its own little story - like the guys who let us fight ourselves, they only added those contacts and a popup that references them - would take FAR more work than it'd be worth. I'm definitely of the camp that says if it's fluff, it belongs in an optional booster pack, if it affects the whole game, the whole game and everyone playing should get it along with their normal updates.
  20. ATI had always been "great hardware, horrible drivers". It hadn't changed in ages, I don't expect it to.

I'm loving my loud but proud Nvidia 8800gt.
