  1. Fog of war hasn't worked properly in ... years? It's been a while. In fact, I think the main reason they originally created the Reveal vet power was to mitigate the Fog of War bug.

Ok, that last part may have been exaggerated, but Fog of War is definitely bugged and has been for quite some time.

Thanks so much for the updates.

Since you're on the topic, I'd like to make some suggestions if you (or anyone else that has the time to look into it) would like to do so.

An easy one to start, in fact, I've already made this change in my own copy - the health inspiration, Resurgence, is misspelled as Resurgance. There are a few places where this occurs, but any decent global replace should fix things right up.

Secondly, this is probably just a complex bind that I could do on my own, but I've often used a bind to combine inspirations of all different types into one of another type (for instance, a bind that will try to combine all Insights, Lucks, Respites, etc. into Catch a Breath inspirations). If this was either added to the inspiration poppers form or a new form for inspiration combining, that would be nice.
  3. I don't really do many trials, but I haven't had any issues in Dark Astoria with that build. But mostly, I run tips and TF's on that build. Fully saturated Invincibility puts all types (except Psi, of course) up to 53.9% or more. What I posted above is set to just one enemy in Invincibility range.

In normal content, I can usually park in the middle of a +4/x8 spawn and go to sleep if I want, not enough damage gets by to surpass the regen, really. It's only slightly squishier in Incarnate content.
  4. Actually, you can do quite a bit with the Psi hole with IO's in Invuln. My Invlun/SS runs around with 32% defense and 33% resistance to Psi. Admittedly, that's not near the numbers of Dark Armor resistance levels or anything, but not bad considering Invuln starts out with 0 in both of those.

  6. If you have access to any type of smartphone or a tablet and can get access to the audio again, might I suggest Shazam or Soundhound?

Both have a rather extensive library of songs and have identified audio that I really wouldn't have thought would be in their database.
  7. And that's a good example of why you shouldn't post before having coffee in the morning. Somehow, it didn't occur to me to just not slot the enhancement.

Assuming that something like an enhancement that enhances everything in a power is something that the devs would actually allow and want in the game, I'm not certain exactly why these would be limited to just Primary powers.

This is why I would say /unsigned. I almost never want the KB of a power enhanced, and the OP suggests enhancing every aspect of a power. For most powers, this would probably be a good thing (though, if every aspect was enhanced with a single enhancement, you'd probably only need about 4 slots to hit ED, so I'm not sure what you would do with those other slots) but there are some that have aspects I'd rather not enhance.

Ok, I guess. Being overpowered at a level range that might last all of 1 hour, tops, I suppose is a problem.
  10. There are full 3D MMO clients that run on iPhone (at least) and I believe Android as well. (Look up Order and Chaos online for an example.) However, these clients are specifically designed to utilize the hardware available on those platforms. This game is most decidedly not. Nor would I want them to dedicate resources to developing a thin client that would work on these platforms that could instead be used to develop more regular content/fix existing issues.

Oh, you mean the content that is by-passed while running DFB?

    Is this really an issue?

  13. As of approximately 8 months ago, you'll be able to transfer and keep the name, assuming it isn't taken. At least, I was able to transfer a character with a 2-letter name at that point and keep the name. Of course, that could have changed between then and now, but I would be surprised if that's the case. I would think all the 2-letter characters were grandfathered at the same time and probably keep their names now.

I think the key difference between something like Super Packs and actual gambling is that there is the possibility of actually loosing/gaining money in online gambling whereas for Super Packs, or anything you purchase from the Paragon Market, you are paying for a service. You don't 'own' anything you purchase from the Market (or what you subscribe to play) rather you are merely paying for the option to use those items in the game.

I also wouldn't be surprised (though the linked article doesn't really say, I don't believe) that there is some way to sell items or gold or whatever in the games being legislated. Once you introduce some means to gain money from a game, it's less paying for a service and more some form of gambling.

Of course, if some competing company that doesn't use this method were to throw enough money at a lobby, who knows what the outcome may be. And I totally agree, Hyperstrike, the government is much more likely to cause an issue than solve one if they are involved.
  15. I'm not really concerned. The likelihood of legislation limiting corporations from making money in nearly any fashion they deem worthy actually passing congress in the United States seems very slim.
  16. I think it would be cool if Lightning Storm did a chain effect, even if it was only a small amount of damage to additional targets and maybe only a couple of extra targets. That would give it a bit of a damage boost and help to hit more targets at the same time.
  17. According to Mids:

Tornado does 61 ticks of 6.67 smashing damage for a total of 407.1 (unenhanced at level 50).

Bonfire does 23 ticks of 5.56 fire damage for a total of 127.9.

However, Bonfire has a 25 foot radius. And if it's only doing knockdown then that's potentially much more damage spread over up to 16 targets. For single target, though, Tornado hands down.
  18. Now we find out the real reason Batman has been brooding all these years.
  19. Marvel makes real people into super heroes, DC tries to make super heroes into real people. One is much more effective and makes realistic, relatable characters, while the other feels much more abstract and is definitely not relatable.

  21. So, most importantly, which Super Team combo are we doing and what server/time?

I've seem some combos I haven't played yet, like an all Storm or an all Illusion team. Both sound like they could be fun, though unless it's all Defenders, an all Storm teams seems like it would suck a ton of end. No multiplier there for recovery. Or an all Time team sounds like it could be really fun, too.
  22. No doubt. I remember playing on FRAD Super Team, encountering an AV that I didn't realize was an AV. "Oh, it's still alive, I can put my debuff toggle on i... Oh, it's dead now."

Sure, nothing would attack, but they would hardly hit if they did, anyway. Doesn't really help you kill anything faster, though. Certainly not like a Green Machine or FRAD super team.
