For the brutes you have, how much have you invested in IOs in them? What about Incarnate? Some mobs are just problematic for some builds. My Kat/sr can point and laugh at a lot of things. DE at x8 isn't one of them. Some debates get over quick when Dark melee is involved since it gives you an additional heal. Considering what stunts people are pulling of with /fire and I don't mean farms, I think any set has the potential for being "unkillable."

If farming means getting tickets, Claws/elec is more than capable of doing so, see Lowbie Map thread. For lower level stuff, I'm not sure it really matters. Each will have pros and cons and you'll have teammates to help cover the cons.

1. The ratings on the servers are for server load due to more players. Virtue is the unofficial RP server States side.

2. If I had been gone awhile, leveling a new character would be a good way to get back into it. The blaster would be good for checking out end game content that was added and obviously a new character can not do.

4. Incarnate is really the thing to do as a level 50.

5. Using AE in terms of regular teams if fine. If you are using it to simply get another Fire/fire blaster to 50 on a new server than using whatever AE team you get is fine. I wouldn't use AE if you are using a new to you build and get leveled via farms since you won't take the time to learn how to play the build nearly as well.

I forgot to add that doing tip missions will be a thing worth checking out as well. Bah. I keep forgetting to add stuff. It would be good to roll a new character in Praet. if you have Going Rogue and that way you get 20 new levels of content and leveling is fairly quick.

This is why something like Flash Arrow has some merit. It's tohit debuff can't be resisted. It might be a small number, but it still wins out against AVs.

If you get def up enough, Aid Self can fill the healing hole. This is why something like /sr, /sd, and invul is easy to do it on. You can do it on more resist based sets, but you are more likely to be interrupted, so you might need extra slots for it.

I think one of my minor pet peeves of the game is that a number of NPCs look like they were homeless and/or strung out on drugs, or some such thing. I made her look more professional and kept the color scheme as close as I could with a quickie pass over. We only have three older faces so it's near impossible to go that direction. I at least didn't give her a more youthful haircut. I probably could go back and add in a grey blend into her hair though. The makeover is significant as is, but I did try to keep it within reason.

I only clicked on the first one, and I'll just say it's not a good build. There is simply too much info to talk about and the builds would be better discussed on the respective AT forum. Posting like this is like showing 300 pieces of data and then going, "What do you think?" Since there is too much info to weed through, I will cover a fraction of what's wrong with the one I clicked on.

You took Spore Burst and four slotted it with Hibernation which offers poor set bonuses. All the more so when factoring in Fly Trap being 1-2 slots away from giving you 3.75% def to AoE and Range.

You also slotted Spirit Tree with 4 DW when you want it 5 slotted for the 5% recharge bonus.

I can't even say this is a as expensive as it can be build for the sake of adding the highest end slotting regardless of it being the right thing to do, see Spore Burst slotting. It's more like slotting via abstract art. There simply seems to be no goal besides adding in a lot of high priced IOs because they are cool.

MMs aren't one of the F2P options due to the complexity of the AT. Something like a Kat/wp scrapper, or Claws/wp brute will work.
