Chance for +End in Transfusion?

I haven't seen this idea talked about (though I may have missed it), but how would the Theft of Essence: Chance for +End proc work in Transfusion? I would think it would have a chance of affecting each ally healed, but without testing I can't be sure.

Has anyone tried this?

It would effect your target.

I'm curious about this and may try to test it at some point. Theft of Essence: Chance for +Endurance in Dark Armor's Dark Regeneration doesn't affect the enemy so it's worth exploring.

Works quite well in Dark Regeneration ... with luck and enough mobs it's a plus Endurance situation at times.

Now that's an idea. I've been trying to figure out how to deal with DR's horrible endurance cost.

While this is possible, considering Tranfusion does affect the enemy's regeneration rate, I don't think that necessarily excludes it affecting allies as well.

Wouldn't be worth it - transfusion is single target and the chance to proc is very low. i can't think of another power besides dark regeneration i'd use that proc in, but it's tailor-made for DR. Also with transference and aoe speed boost are your teammates really having many endurance problems when you're around?

I'm pretty sure kinetics' siphon powers with AoE splash are using pseudo-pets. The enemy is hit with an effect, and only then does the splash spawn, and does so on your foe. Since the initial power is an enemy, and the splash centers on said enemy, the +endurance is centered around the 'caster' of the splash effect: your enemy.

Dark regeneration centers on yourself, and seems to be using a far simpler AoE mechanic that is a straight hit and heal rather than anchored pseudo-pet. Either way, it centers/anchors on you rather than an enemy, so you get the effect.

Kinetics can be very weird.

This is probably why I haven't seen any talk about it. Oh well.

This is correct. Powers like Fulcrum and the Trans powers grant your enemy a power that summons a psuedo pet to cast the effect. Because the proc will effect the owner of the power that uses it, and the power is owned by your target, the proc will only effect the target.

This is also why the effects of these powers won't work if the target dies after you activate the power but before it goes into effect. When the target dies, the psuedo pet it summons also dies.

Dark Regen works with the proc because it's basically a PBAoE attack that also happens to heal you for every enemy it hits. Any proc or special effect from the power belongs to it's caster: you.

What about in Dark's heal? It is a remote single target -tohit debuff, and a pbaoe heal. Does everyone at the pbaoe portion get +end chance? Does the user get +end chance?

only the caster would get the +end

pretty much all of these type of procs only affect the caster

the only rare case i know of where a proc placed in an aoe power will affect everyone is the panacea heal proc in stuff like triage beacon or spirit tree, the heal ticks that the proc gives work in the aoe so anyone standing in the aoe would get extra heal ticks in addition to the +regen (note, the +end portion of the panacea proc has no effect)

That power is pretty much like dark regeneration, hitting an enemy then healing on you. Since the heal is centered on you, created from your character, it should give you the chance for +end. Procs only affect the caster, though.

*edit* too slow!

Inherent Stamina, plus the energy mastery ancillary pool for the physical perfection power, plus Alpha slotting Cardiac.

Well, inherit Fitness isn't really helping since people were taking it anyway. The +end proc is really the quick and dirty way to handle it's issues, but you just kind of have to understand the build is meant to be IOed and Incarnated. I wouldn't roll it if I was merely getting it to 50 and calling it good.
