I was just on and then I was kicked due to the servers going down even though the latest post clearly states they are done. There was no warning of them shutting down the servers either.

It was canned because it was so screwed up when the devs were testing it that the fixes never made beta. In other words, when trying to fix bases the devs did so bad of a job it was deemed worse than what we have now. There has been talk of post i21 love coming to bases. The quote came from the general forum, but it's in the base one as well. I'll only get excited when it hits live.

Dark has Shadow Maul so it does have at least one AoE. I think adding in Mu covers any sets lack of AoE. The thing to point out is even if Dark/fire isn't equal to SS/fire, it does farm fast enough that it's good enough for other people. Some people like the idea of having a farmer and it not being SS/fire.

Nope, and I say this from somebody who has a level 50 Claws/regen and level 40 Claws/fire brute.

I've never put more than one end reduc into a Leadership toggle and that includes pre-i19 Staminaless builds. If you are slotting 2 end reduc in those toggles, you should be at least putting 2 end reducs into attacks and that's just overkill. I do, however, put an end reduc into them. Even if toggles are "cheaper" to run versus attacks, I'm not always attacking. I am most likely always having the toggles on so cutting the cost between battles helps end recovery during that time.

Ice/ice even if /ice develops rather late. /fire to be an aggro monster. /km for the stacking -dmg. I would just color /km to match. /stone because it's easier to use than /ice since Frost is a cone. /dark covers up the psy hole indirectly. /axe and /hammer offer their own forms of mitigation. There's not a lot that doesn't work with Ice really.

It might help if NCSoft acknowledged the fact that vBulletin has a new version out. We are still running on version 3.8.6 when version 4.1.5 is out. One would think they would want this cleared up since Freedom is in the works, but considering the speed they have tackled this issue with isn't promising.

BP will also give /psy fits, but I think certain mobs being an issue is rather low these days since you can pick and choose what missions you do.

Choosing a Controller Build v2
There is one guide to help weed through your options. I do think dom players that try out controllers are required to play an Ill controller. Local_Man's guide covers Ill/rad in vast detail. You don't have to roll Ill/rad, but it's a really good source for info on either set. Magicj's giudes on Mind control/wartrollers are also a really good source about possible play styles with controllers. -
They could be an old vet that just came back and finished off a character and thus they didn't need to do a lot of missions to do so and are still learning about all of the changes, see ignorance about IOs.

Which means nothing in terms of the grand scheme of things. At one point the number one SGs on Virtue and Freedom were run by people who burned influ to generate prestige and that was really the sole purpose of the SG.

Reported cost is $200 million. Current worldwide gross is $154 million. Little of that is outside the US. It will make money once it hits DVD, but that's not really much encouragement to do a sequel with. If it got a lot of positive word of mouth then they can build on that for the sequel. Since it was reviewed as mediocre and did underperform at the box office, that's tough to build off of. They'll need to drop at least $50 million off of the budget next time.

The quick and dirty version is Kat/BS for non-defense sets, and Dark defense based sets for maximum mitigation. I think /fire being more click based would cut into DB more than it would Kat as well. The plus side is you could self PL the DB/fire to 50 easier if you wanted to have a level 50 asap.

I'll likely wait for Freedom just so I can start a corr blue side. Thermal needs to be done on a defender, but a /pain corr would be nice to have. Might go Fire, or Ice since the animations are rather quick so I'm not stuck in a long animation where I can't use /pain when needed.

Even doing minimal playing with the market, you can buy level 50 common IO recipes for all of 1 currency and then sell them at stores for over 30K per each one. I parked a level 3 character and had a million on them in no time.

Powers do have caps in various attributes. Two things that make FS work so well is it has a bigger range than normal PBAoE attacks so it's more likely to hit it's target cap. It also takes the +recharge proc as well.

Somebody poorly touched up his left eye. I'm amazed that version made it live.

Quote:Some servers are significantly easier to get on a team than others though and I find the lower population servers frustrating to do teaming on depending on the time and what I want to do. Granted, the bulk of my playing time has been on Freedom so just about anything is going to feel slow in terms of teaming compared to it. These days I tend to play a lot on Virtue mostly because it's player base has to be around Freedom levels and I have channels set up to where I get more conversation going on those channels than the rest of my channels combined and that includes multiple channels for Freedom.Fortunately, all the servers have people on them and none of them are ghost towns. Some people, unfortunately, have this idea that if they're not lagging out because of the number of people in a zone, there's nobody there. However, teaming isn't difficult on any of the servers

Quote:My guess is this. You can be buffed only so far so that's when debuffs take over. Empathy doesn't have any. The Emps will still steam roll, but /pain will do it faster. All the more so since corrs get scourge and that's significant versus things like AVs.Taking the ITF as an example, I would predict both teams steamrolling everything until the last fight with Nictus-infused Rom. From there I say the Pains would leap ahead by just stacking -res on Rom+nictus and being capable to killing all 4 of them simultaneously or close to it.
