Registrars can be found in the Freedom Corps building in Galaxy City, in the City Hall in Atlas Park, and in the big Arachnos building in Marconeville in Port Oakes; it's the same place you go to create a SG or pay your rent.

I just hope the OP realizes that SG rankings mean absolutely nothing these days and haven't for several years.

I disagree, they mean this is the group with the most accrued prestige.

Which means nothing in terms of the grand scheme of things. At one point the number one SGs on Virtue and Freedom were run by people who burned influ to generate prestige and that was really the sole purpose of the SG.

I have a solo SG on Virtue that's been in the top 100 for over 4 years and my only character in it has been retired since Issue 8. If Prestige was still important my SG would have lost it's position on that list ages ago.

Years ago when base rent actually had an impact on prestige totals and affected ranking yes the list was important. Now it's just a meaningless mini-game between farmers and marketers to see who can get the highest numbers.

I'd strongly suggest getting in touch with the Mentor Project. A group of helpful volunteer players on all the servers.

They can probably point you in the right direction on the server of your choice and suggest some global channels that can help you meet people and answer any other questions.

Well the rankings may still reflect which SGs are most active right now, but as others implied you have to take that with a huge grain of salt. The kinds of things many of the top SGs are doing these days to get to the top of the lists may not be the kind of "activity" you're looking for.

Basically the SG ranking lists were part of the whole "SG base raiding PvP" system that never quite happened. They also existed in a time before the markets when it was much harder to "buy" your way to the top. Such is life.

If you want to find a SG to play in I'd do what Forbin_Project said and maybe skim through the server forum areas. The SG ranking list might help, but I wouldn't rely on it at this point. Good luck.

I've also PUGed with members of The Society of Q many times. I don't know any of them well, but I'm always happy to see one of their members on a team that I join.

honestly I find that SGs mean less for teaming and activity on victory. I belong to several active global channels and the majority of my teaming comes from them so I'm always running with lots of people from many different SG and just keep my small private SG for storage and the like

like Roderick i play exclusively on victory, but i have a different sg that i been running for around 5 years now

i try to maintain it to be a friendly atmosphere and give the members as much freedom as i can, if your interested send me in game tell to @Necrotech Master or PM on the forums here and we can work something out
