  2. I was thinking about this "new soft-cap" of 59% (inspired by an Apex run) and decided to see about getting a scrapper to it, and I ended up over it. This build is, at this point, purely hypothetical (though based on my claws/sr), and the only thing I'm not sure of is how well it still puts out the damage. So feedback on that side is mostly what I'm looking for (especially from BillZ or other Claws mavens).

Which is why I try to let the Brutes take aggro when I'm on my tanker unless they're a few seconds from dying. At which point I taunt them off near them so they can have a breather to heal.

    *edit*
And another question: What would I want mag 8 knockback protection for? Aside from specific high-yield bosses, do normal critters get higher mag?
Sprint won't take universal travel sets, so no, no BotZ in it. Mostly because it had busted-high defense set bonuses (the set bonuses have since been halved).

Precisely, the bonus XP is equal to 1/2 a level at your current level. Which generally makes them dingfests for low-ish levels.

Even though this is most likely true, I'd love to see 48 Thugs MMs teaming on an Orange Bagel map. Even though it'd probably crash the server they do it on.

    Hasten: No FX

Some people do, so it's very likely that the no FX option won't happen without all the power pools getting customization.

All these things would help the team, and some of them wouldn't even require spending more enh slots

The problem is, I have a *lot* more than just "pick up 3 more powers". There's redistributing slots, figuring out what slots I can do without and which I need. And some of us just came back from hiatuses (not a willing one on my part, my computer crapped the bed) and want to get back into the game and see how the old build stacks up to the new stuff before they plan the new build.

At which point he gets a global name change token so he can change it to @WhateverHeWants, so the 5 minute weird name isn't really valid.

Okay, I'm studying to be a math teacher, and these puns are really stretching my limits. In fact, I'd almost say that if this series of puns continues, the thread will diverge from its original intent.

That's not to even start on how derivative some of the puns have been.
  11. Traps does not currently exist for controllers, but there is a high likelihood of it being ported, so Trip Mine needs to be replaced with something else, as that's currently in Traps. Other than that, looks pretty nice.

You fail. Try reading the whole gorram sentence next time. He's talking about internal bandwidth between the processor and its memory. I failed out of an IT degree program (mostly due to not attending class >.>) and I know the difference between that and the kind of bandwidth you assumed he was talking about.

    Just at a rough thought.
Hmm.... It's missing the 10-15 foot PBAoE. Remember, every assault set has one, and I doubt they'd break the pattern here. Also, assault sets only get 1 utility, not 2. With Aim/BU counting as those, so you'll only get Soul Drain or Dark Consumption, with the other one replaced by some form of PBAoE attack. Perhaps a toned-down version of Blackstar like happened with Psychic Assault.

Actually, we have never received anything where the devs have said "ain't gonna happen". We've received things that the devs said "we don't like what our predictions say would happen" (Market Merge), we've received things where the devs said "if we did that right now you wouldn't get new issues for a year or more" (Power Customization), and we've received things that the devs haven't really commented on (inherent fitness). None of those were ever a flat-out "no".

    Things we've gotten a flat-out "no" to:
    Rolling back ED.
    Purchasable (with RL money) inf.

Those two have been an explicit no, and I wouldn't hold your breath on anything that the devs have outright said "no" to, as we aren't going to get those.

Actually, Akaloid isn't horribly weak. It's simply a common misperception caused by the fact that only MMs (who have a horrid heal modifier, actually) get it. If you compare Alkaloid to O2 Boost on an MM, you'll see that they heal for the same amount.
