Added: unlimited AE arc slots (cost unknown at this point)
-
If you makes you feel better, I'm not in it.

Quote:Not only do I currently have 108 different characters, I have multiple accounts because I have filled all 36 slots on my home server.
When Freedom goes live I'll have 4 active accounts, and I'm a very casual player.
Casual player? <raised eyebrow>
Does that mean you play 20 hours a day in your boxers? -
I had to say no. I had a work related obligation for which it was necessary for me to attend to, otherwise, I would have definitely gone.

Updated OP with info from official market preview.

You're charged for alterations, not to purchase. All costume changes in the tailor have a price. If you have a Costume Token, you can 'spend' that instead.

Quote:Nobody who has received it will have it taken away.Ah ok, still, that seems like an odd choice - taking it away from people. I totally agree with getting on with forcing the new launcher, as it is superior, however taking away the Wisps aura seems... like a weird choice. What does that accomplish?
The free gifting of the Wisp Aura, which was the carrot to make people early adopters of the new Launcher, will stop on Aug 4. -
If we get rid of Vanguard Merits, then how is it that the Reward Merits I got from doing Silver Mantis' Strike Force means that the Vanguard will now give me one of their HVASs?
Currencies tie specific rewards to specific tasks. If the link makes sense, the currency should stay despite the fact it 'confuses' people.
And 'confuse'? Really? Figuring out an IO build for a character is several orders more confusing that keeping track of currencies. Is it really confusing? Do you walk away from your computer saying, "I just tried to buy an HVAS with Villain Alignment Merits and I couldn't! I just don't understand how this works!!" -

The only 'currency' I find unnecessary is Shards and Shard-components. The Thread-currency is more finely granular and can completely absorb and eliminate the Shard-currency.

As the OP mentioned, if you're using Nightfall, then all the feared foes are going to retaliate. It's better if they miss.
If you're going to focus on single target attacks, then perma-Fear would be more useful. -
Quote:Both Tentacles and Fearsome Stare should be slotted for -ToHit.Currently debating with myself over whether it'd be better to slot FS for -tohit or Fear duration. My recharge is currently high enough to where how I have it currently slotted (Glimpse x5) I can stack it. On the other hand, my attack chain of Nightfall/Tenebrous Tentacles has a tendency to allow them to attack through fear anyway, thus really only making it good for inital lockdowns (which don't require much duration anyway). Anyone have their own preference and can weigh in on this?
Tentacles is 9.375% -ToHit, with 2 SOs, 15.6% -ToHit
Fearsome Stare is 18.75% -ToHit, with 2 SOs, 31.2% -ToHit
Total of 46.8% -ToHit.
If they don't have any -ToHit resistance, you just soft capped them.
And that's before Nightfall's 9.375% -ToHit added in. -
I'd like to see a co-op contact whose arc requires you to defeat the four Recluse lieutenants that unlocks all the EPPs. This way, anyone of any alignment can take it and there is a good in-game rationale why you have access to any one of the Patron's EPPs.
Also, that contact is level 40+ so that you can unlock them *before* you hit level 41, thus doing away with the need to grant a respec. -

Maybe a T4 Green can pulse a Heal Aura for a minute!
