  1. I's start with Wyrd Sisters and Guards! Guards! They are some of the betters ones of 'Early' Pratchett, i.e. the ones with the not quite settled writing style

From Dark Ones list, I'd say Reaper Man onwards (with the exception of Small Gods...never got that one myself) are the best. In fact, yeah, from Reaper Man on I can't find a single 'bad' one (bad being a non starter here...'Less Good'? )
And Pyramids is good, if a little bit of a one off. But still fun.
  2. 'Arachnos base, Grandville. There is a huge bundle of unconscious IDF seers, bound with twisted metal girders left outside the Arbitarial tower. A note pinned to them says simply "Satisfied? -King"'

Wrong, actually. Someone demo-edited the Tsoo sorcerors and even some CoT to do MA high kicks...and it actually didn't look too bad. Not 100% perfect, sure...but given how much clipping there is in costume pieces anyway, I frankly don't buy that excuse anymore.

And yes, Azure, I hearby promote your fleshling self to the status of Honourary Robot Wear the title proudly!
  5. IC wise, King was around organising Rogue isles defences and slaughtering anything that got near her

OOC, it was an utter lagfest that I arrived late to, so that wasnt happening at all.
  6. Been excreting commons and uncommons on Alpha. The only Rare I got was from the MoBAF badge. Unamused ¬¬
  7. I wish they'd just do away with 'participation'

People who genuinely try but are getting DC'd are getting put in the same camp as actual leechers....who, in reality, are getting kicked as they should do, and thus getting NO rewards.

We don't need this brain-dead A.I. 'nanny' telling us to play nice, because the players have always managed that themselves. Instead, all it's doing is screwing over the legit players.

Personally? I'd say remove commons from the chance for reward. That way people get the stuff thats actually hard to get, rather than the stuff you can get with contemptuous ease.

    Vanguard Pack!

Hmn, widow claws hidden behind the Valk glove? Very nice.

Edit: Oop, no, see the flat blade now. Still, easy enough to make a one claw char there

    Trenchcoat

    I need this kinda look for one of my Villains WWII uniform;

    Trench over jacket. Please?
  10. In related news; I have far too much fun writing Recluse and Daos. Villains are always more fun to write, especially when trying to stay true to their character.
  11. Recluse's Tower, Grandville

    "You summoned me, sir."

Webmaster Commander Marian King of the Krimzon Guard stood at ease, fully clad in her power armour. The Lord of Arachnos, sat in a special swivel chair to accomodate his multiple limbs, turned from the window and regarded her over steelpled fingers for a moment, before speaking as if finally recognising her.

"Ah. Commander King. Yes, I did." He sat forward, leaning his arms on the black marble desk. "I believe you are aware of the apparently inbound Praetorian incursion?"

    "Yes sir, I-"

"Good. You are not to engage them."

There was a genuinely stunned pause. King stood immobile, like someone had simply switched off all her bodily functions. Even her longfang armatures seemed to have frozen.
    "Sir?"

Recluse sat back again, resting his elbows on the arm rests and clasping his hands idly in front of him.
"For now, it seems, the majority of activity is aimed at Paragon City. The Heroes," he added, practically spitting the word, "are likely making preperations."

    "Yes, sir, but-"

"Let them. Let them and the Praetorians burn each other out. Any damage they inflict is likely of use to us. Repel all comers from Arachnos territory, and the Nerva Archipelago. Await further orders. That is all."

    "I...bu-"

"Was there a problem, Commander?" Recluse asked archly, glowing eyes blazing as he fixed King with his unblinking stare.

The Commander stood for a moment, before slamming to attention.
"No, sir. Understood, sir," she snapped.

Recluse nodded, turning his chair back to face the window as he casually waved a hand at her.
    "Dismissed."

As King turned and strode out, boots almost slamming into the flooring, Arbiter Daos detached himself from the shadows and moved over to the desk. Placing a thick folder on it from the stack he carried, he glanced across at the Lord of the Rogue Isles.

"My Lord...all evidence of the Commanders character suggest she will not obey that order. She has already developed a personal vendetta against the Praetorian armed forces-"

"Is that so? What a pity," Recluse mused, "So she would purposefully disobey orders to get at the Praetorians?"

Daos paused. The Lord of Many Arms seemed almost amused at the prospect.
"I believe so, my lord. She may well try to avoid detection in her activities...or not, given her character."

"Excellent." An arm reached backwards, stabbing viciously into the folder and bringing the paperwork back over the chair, impaled on the sharpened point. "Keep tabs on her. If she avoids detection, than she is simply becoming even more useful to us. If she does not, then we merely find something for her to do as punishment detail. Something suitably arduous and back-breaking, perhaps involving someone or someones who require the Commanders...personal touch. "

"You mean someone we need obliterated, sir? In a assuredly violent and likely messy manner?"

    "Precisely. Unfortunate, isn't it?"

    "For someone else, sir, yes."
  12. Love them both. I feel maybe the female vocals in Incarnate need to be less monotone? Rise and fall works wonderfully well.

Adore the stuff you do, OV, and really wish I could learn how to do it. Bravo!
  13. Just listened to Incarnate and 'First, Last, The One'. Damn that gave me chills

I'd love to hear a piece done for the Rikti Crash Site, actually. I love the rock piece they have going there at the moment, but...I get the feeling there could be something really epic done for the Rikti. Something with a very unearthly yet terrifyingly powerful feel to it. Something I think the orchestrals you make could wonderfully convey

They have no claim to any names if they aren't paying to keep their account active. Here's a free rename token, deal with it.

Punishing paying customers is worse than penalizing people who aren't even customers.
    This and That ^

I have a very strong hunch that the person I lost my global to is no longer active.

So, yes, someone would be upset. You can't please everyone.
How's about NOT upsetting the guy who has never once let his subscription lapse? Is that not a little thing called loyalty? Hmm?
  15. What about the US Techbot ALPHA, who seems to have been inactive for at least a year, if not more? ¬¬

And let us wear them over jackets. Military trenchcoats ftw
  17. Shad, turbo-cyber-death weasels have been dispatched. I hope your Will has been written, is all I'm saying... >_>
  18. So, I lost my name to Techbot_Alpha_NA, who seems not to have been around for the best part of a year.
And my global name is now grunge coloured.
ALL of Unions globlas seem to now be grunge coloured! It's....really, really actually quite annoying...I LIKED my green name. It even matched Al's colour.

    *Sigh*
  19. I'm not @TechbotALPHA....sans the space *twitch* ugh...

    Oh, and grunge coloured. Yaaaaay....
GIVE ME MY GREEN BACK, YOU THIEVES!!
  20. BackFire, the chat box hated IE and Chrome too, so it wasn't just you was a right royal pain in the skit plate, I tell ya...
  21. I want my global COLOUR back! Green > grunge colour! Losing the space in my name I can live with. But not the colour Given the account that took my name seems to be totally inactive. *SIGH*
  22. Very small QoL thing; allow players to pick the colour of their global handle on chat channels.
I was perfectly happy with my green handle from before. It suited me rather well. Now its all...grunge coloured. Given I was forced to lose the space between words, could I and others not at least get their 'right' colours back?
    Thanks
  23. Can we please have the ability to recolour our globals? I'd rather not be stuck with a grunge coloured one for the rest of my days =[

The UStream was very cool, it was a shame the chat box was so utterly buggified to make and techy cry in distress and required multiple relogs and such.

Also, the spam was just...well, lets just say I may need some anger management after all this....seriously... *sigh*
  24. Yeah, most AVs just wind up being 'Wait till they crash and then gank them' AhemVALKYRIEahem!

They don't even do particularly scary damage on most teams these days.
Rage, now? Or a scaling 'lower the health the higher the damage' auto power, which might work better.
I say this as a Bots MM who gets one shotted by most AVs anyway, mind
