Have they not? I haven't had either problem in the past couple of weeks. Before that, the forums were consistently timing out and throwing errors.

We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

Couple of days ago I got logged out as soon as I logged in. Not completely fixed, but it's still there on the rare occasion. It might have to do with when new forums are opened up, such as when the Global Server Test forums were revealed.

Yeah, they've tried, but now with 100% success. I went for about 2 or 3 weeks with no issues and then Boom! Yesterday saw me get logged constantly.

Aah! OK... I never noticed that was gone, or that it was called a "favicon," but it's good to see it back, I guess.

Okay. Was able to fix it.

Here's why it won't refresh.

Essentially favicons are only set to clear if you don't hit a site for more than 24 hours. If, like me, you're on this site all different times of the day, it'll never clear. Ever.

Here's how to get around that.

  1. Clear your browser cache and shut down your browser.
  2. Advance your system clock 48+ hours (or just flip the month ahead).
  3. Restart the browser and hit the site.
The favicon should now update for you.


Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

But that sounds foolhardy! Are there any issues if you do that while on a Domain?
