    It has been almost 3 weeks since they were supposed to start sending the refunds. I got charged 6 months subscription in my UK bank account at the end of August, AFTER the closure announcement (silly me, I should have cancelled the subscription). I haven't heard any news or got any refund.

    Has anyone any info about that?

    Dear all,

    I'd like to record some videos of my fav characters fighting in-game. I did so few years ago, and I used the free version o FRAPS; if I recall correctly, you could only record segments of 30 secs.

    After all that time, there is any better free alternative out there?

    I am going to juice the time left in CoH, while hoping to get it saved. I am signing every petition and everything that comes online.

    In case this fails, I am really curious about The Secret World. I have been reading reviews and seing gameplay videos and really liked. I have seen it mentioned several times in this thread. Are th CoH people playing in any specific TSW server?

    Yep, Staff has cool sounds, but the ones really addictive to me are the sounds from Dark Melee punches: blunt, fast, smashy... A saturated Shadow Maul is beauty to be heard (and herd... ;-P )

    One think that works well for me when "tweaking up" the GFX options is to use the in-game command "/showfps 1" (without quotes). It shows you the frames per second you get in the game in the top right part of the screen. You can disable it with "/showfps 0".

    In game, to do the tweaking you can "go" with a character either to somewhere graphically intensive (if you aim for "best quality graphics/perfomance", i.e. Praetoria) or to a place easy for the GPU (for "I just want performance to be able to play", most indoors mission are good). I change some GFX setting, and then move around abit looking at the FPS.

    Just for the sake of thread completeness, my Water/Time Corr finished all the story arcs in First Ward, alternating missions with the ones from the repeteable contacts, killing some seedlings, having accumulated variable amounts of Patrol XP and using Experienced XP few times, mostly soloing... at lvl 27.

    Not willing to stay there for 3 whole levels doing street hunting, repeating the very same repeatable mission ("kill the deadly Awakened bosses with tentacles in their heads in a faciclity full of DUST") or kill Seedlings to boredom, I crossed to Primal Earth. So now she is a happy Paragonian, and just completed her first TF (that was new for me, Penelope Yin).

    PS: BTW, remeber I said I got the 2 "cross the Rift" missions to cross to Priaml Earth, one from Resistance and the other from Loyalist? As soon as picked heroe doing the first, the second mission dissapeared.

    I like this, mechanically and as a concept... one point more in favour of SR. All the SR builds posted earlier reach the Speed cap (92,5 mph) when Elude is active.

    Hey Beelzy,

    It is a really nice build with good Defense values. I changed the Alpha slot to Agility, and turned Sprint on, the build gives 56 mph of in combat movement.

    I got one of the (very few) EU codes this morning at 6:27 am (UK time), 23 minutes (!!!)after it was posted... I guess the EU player base was sleeping.
