Good Lord!!! heeeelllppp!!

Look guys I hate to sound like a addicted desperate mmo junky, but I need some serious help finding a new game to play!! secret world, good way to make game content and play but graphics are lousy and I don't feel like I am part of the game at all. Tera old tech., rift old tech., champion online old tech., and so on and so on. boy if you are playing a new game that makes you feel like coh did like I am part of the game content, good way to build character and good graphics tell me bout it please!!!. If not I guess ill just wait till some of the newer games come out in a few months. MAYBE I'LL JUST KICK THE MMO HABIT ALL TOGETHER AND BE FREEEE!!!!!! doubt it.

imo i dont know if i could seriously play another MMO

im very very against anything that is run by ncsoft

champions and DCUO are definitely not for me

i dont like WoW or every other gear based f2p grindfest out there


so as of late i have mostly been playing various games from my massive steam list which i have not played yet lol (so far ive beaten borderlands 2 100% till they add more DLC, beaten torchlight 2 both playthroughs, beat the 2nd deathspank game, currently playing an interesting one called towns)

well, there is always SW:TOR going F2P on the 15th.

there is one im waiting on which starts CB on the 16th this month. called City of Steam. it is a steampunk game. really looking forward to it.
so far i have to admit that the community there has been a positive so far. i havent played the game yet, but from reading the forums it sounds like a cool game.

I think if you are going to play any MMO go into it with a COMPLTELY open mind and perspective, otherwise your doomed to fail as you'll be seeking similiarities between X game and CoH.

This isnt' exactly a new "game" per se but since 8/31/12 efforts to Save CoH have been ongoing, particularly on Titan Network forums. I don't know that taking part in customer action(s) will replace the feeling you have playing CoH. I don't think any MMO presently on the market will replicate sufficiently the experience I have playing City of Heroes. But we could use the help.

Until then, we all have until midnight 11/30 or 12/1 3 pm EST to play City of Heroes. Yes, it's not the same without the formerly active supergroups, servers and our friends, but the content and game is still here a while longer.

Secret World is about to have a serious game update which will have me living in a perpetual PvP environment when I play there. I can't wait.

Just walk away man. Quitting cold turkey is always the best way. I'm hanging up my cape and heading off to play some life.

I'm pretty much done myself with MMOs until Marvel goes live, heck I just purchased Sim City 4.

I've been too busy with work to get any playtime in this last month... though I did load up Ultima IV off of gog.com and ended up running around in that for a few hours. -_-

After Sunset, I was thinking of checking on my first MMO, Earth and Beyond, that's in a fan run Beta. I played it a while back, but they kept wiping all the characters.

Good luck in finding something that suits you. After playing CoH for 8 years and spending so much time with this wonderful community... I think I need to go back to casual gaming for a while. :/
