Typically the band has only ONE WEEK to prep.
They got the music for the show Monday the 24th but had to prep for the away game so only practiced the music a bit and then practiced the following monday 2 hours a day for a week to put it together.
its insane. They did Beach Boys the first game and marched a stick figure riding a wave on a surf board.

I showed this to the Band Director at the High School I work at.
He was amazed at all they were able to do even though he is quite familiar with the OSU Marching Band's shows.
He has plans to show it to some of his classes so that they'll stop complaining about how hard the maneuvers he has them do at our half-time shows are.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Truly impressive. I love watching special performances and that seemed to be one of them, to me. That horse moment gave me supreme chills! One of those, "No, they did not?!? Wow... how nice for them to be a part of something so well done!".
