Honestly(and please dont be offended, because i know this whole thing was a lot of work!), the best moment of the whole night for me...Was watching everyone leap/speed/take off/teleport towards the ship in unison. I havent seen that large of a mob of heroes rushing off to battle in so many years. I actually stopped mid leap just to watch it happen. It was so great to share this with you all.

Sadly, probably not. This whole situation has pretty much tipped me over the fence on whether to continue playing MMORPGs at all. I'm currently trying CO, but I'm finding it more and more difficult to want to devote time to something that could just be pulled out from under me for any reason at any moment.

I definitely agree with the feeling of "meatier" attacks in CoX. TW in particular feels like im smacking people around the room with a big bulky weapon. I havent tried two handers in CO yet, but in general i dont feel like my CO chars hit as hard, even though they are significantly more powerful at lower levels. I feel like CoX really found a sweet spot with the "screen vibrate" thing.

We've never talked, but I've always enjoyed your posts, Arcanaville. Your knowledge of the inner workings of this game was always amazing to me, and your eagerness to help others learn these workings really made you a respectable person in my eyes.

Hopefully having a 20 hour debuff didn't chase too many players away and damage the game somehow. Oh well, even if the constant stream of stupid decisions like this, and the dev's refusal to do things like hotfix major issues did somehow damage the game, I'm sure it won't be anything too bad. And if the game does come to some harm, we can all just band together and blame NCSoft instead of pointing out that the constant bad design decisions and inflexibility were the real reasons this game tanked.

The Lincoln TC was still making a profit and America's best selling luxury vehicle yet they discontinued the product and many workers that worked in the factory that made cars on that platform lost their jobs. This is a physical purchase that a lot of us made, and a lot of us put money into, that we will effectively never be able to use again in 20 days. I didnt spend as much on the game as a lot of people have, and I'm still pretty mad that they advertised "PLAY FOREVER" rather recently, and then just decide to cut the game off at the knees, instead of allowing it to at least go into a still-playable maintainance mode. sure, they have the right to do it, but its still a crappy move, and people are absolutely right to be angry that thier product is now rendered completely useless. -

I love that people think CoH has much...if any...impact on NCSoft stock. CoH represented such a minuscule part of NCsoft. When NCsoft stocks go back up (look at their trends over the years...this is quite common with them) who will take credit for that?
BTW I hate the people who are crying out against Blade & Soul...for their costumes - have you seen some of the costumes people have made in CoH - NOT very family friendly. If you wanna bash Blade & Soul go right ahead but at least bash it for something that CoH was not guilty of as well...skintastic boobilicious costumes.
CoH may have been rated T for teen...but that didn't stop the pedos and ERPers from infiltrating this "family friendly" game
