Well, we just completed a very smooth Posi part 1. The rest of the team looked like they were heading into part 2, but I wasn't able to stay.
It looked like the event was pretty successful, at least on Virtue.
We had about 4-5 teams on Champion running this. Was fun!

Yeah, Justice had at least 5 teams running. That's just how many I accounted for before mine headed in, so there might have been a few more.
By the time we were done there were several Numina (WST) teams forming.

Had a blast tonight on Tava's team. Afterwards, parked in Atlas for a bit to show my support.
Pinnacle Represent!-ed!
We had four teams at one point. Which I think was pretty good.
Mine was a 7-person, then a 4-person set for Posi 1 and then 2. I had the star, so I called them TF houtex, and that's that. I don't care what the game said.
The second was a hoot. The four of us were a blaster, two corruptors, and me, the defender. We had an almost-team wipe in the dam (one of my iced victims ran into another pack, and brought them back... oops.) 3 of us 4 had small dirt naps. But then we had a *rousing comeback* as we rezzed, buffed and proceeded to beat the snot outta everything else, including Dr. Vaz at the end.
Which was really nifty, for me, as the other three were all the offense we had. My character was Total Dependent, rad/ICE Defender, and... well, she doesn't do offense, per se. She buffs and debuffs. But we did it, and my teammates on both TFs were awesome. Thanks to you all for lettin' me play wif ToDep. She's now a 43! <em dance5>

August 31, 2012. A Day that will Live in Infamy. Or Information. Possibly Influence. Well, Inf, anyway. Thank you, Paragon Studios, for what you did, and the enjoyment and camaraderie you brought.
This is houtex, aka Mike, signing off the forums. G'night all. - 10/26/2012
Well... perhaps I was premature about that whole 'signing off' thing... - 11-9-2012
Was a fun time I think I started one of the last Justice ones. We should do more events that get people teaming and playing

Ooh, I got pictures! Here are some of mine:
Infinity heroes waiting (mainly on me) to start task force:
My first team. Most of them stuck around for part 2, but there was a little bit of shuffling between parts:
Another shot of my first team, on our way to save Atlas Park:
We took a few screenshots between part 1 and part 2. This seemed appropriate:
And this was my team on Infinity facing off against the big baddie himself. I tried to convince them that maybe Dr. V isn't so bad, that his ideas might have merit, and I think that being an Eidolon wouldn't be so bad, but unfortunately, they wouldn't have any of that.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
(If you love this game as much as I do, please read that post.)
Just before all the madness truly began on Virtue Server. Right before all the teams began to scatter to their first missions, we had already spawned 2 Steel Canyons! Yay!
I was on the team with "CAPTAIN BACON" leading both Posi #1 and Posi #2.
On Posi #2, Captain Bacon fell off the bridge in the Oranbega caves into a group of Thorns.
The battlecry went up - "SAVE THE BACON! SAVE THE WORLD!"
It was that kind of night.
TonyV didn't mention - but we had 5 teams running in a league last night on Infinity for Posi 1 and 4(?) for Posi 2. There may have been others, but the league teams raced through and cheered each other on.
And yes, we had to wait to start for Tony to reach minimum level for the TF - he showed up on a level 9 scrapper - what a noob!
Altoholic - but a Blaster at Heart!

Here is a couple pictures of alot of people by Positron on Virtue. I got to run Posi part 1 last night with a pretty good team, I was Shade Mystic.
I'm the one holding the torch next to the tall guy wearing all white.
Cancel the kitchen scraps for widows and lepers, no more merciful beheadings and call off christmas!
Played both 1 and 2 last night on Virtue with my wife, two friends, and some heroes we'd never had the pleasure to team with before. Part 1 was just 6 of us (I like playing more than I like recruiting) and the team was: Brute, Corr x3, Blaster x2. So, that was nuts.
Part 2 we got 2 more, adding another Blaster and a Dom. I'm not sure I've ever seen Doc V go down that fast.
Big fun all around, and my corr who went 15-20 now proudly sports her "Positron's Ally" badge.
I was surprised we did 2; my wife is sick as a dog, but when we finished with 1 she said, "No, I want to keep going."
So we did. Acts of heroism come in all sizes.
