If you don't have either of the auras, then the bundle is a great deal.
Eh, it's only 20 points and since I only make large purchases, the difference won't affect me in the long run.

I re-rolled the Beast/TA MM I'd just made (and gotten to 27) as Beast/Nature. I'm a bit ambivalent about it; TA was good for stopping runners and Nature's got nothing in that department. But I have enough TA characters already.

made an angelic themed nature/water defender named asperguillum so far enjoying him.
I've made a magic-themed Water/Plant Corr named Marsh Mistress; no backstory for her yet. And also a Praetorian, Science origin Necro/Nature Mastermind named The Verdant Legion. He's supposed to be the result of Neuron dumping a load of a failed regeneration serum into a field outside the city; it soaked into the the plant life, the ground, and a dead body buried beneath. The serum infused the plants and raised the body as a creature that's part plant, part reanimated corpse. It can raise other corpses in a similar fashion, thus the Necro part.

I'm still debating re-rolling Hot-House, the 20-something plant/thermal controller I created a few years back. I suspect I'll leave her alone -- blasted character-specific annual event badges! -- and just create someone new to try it out.

Nature/Archery Defender, Jack Woods. Enjoying the combo so far; it's fun to stand in Lifegiving Spores, lay down Spore Cloud and just plink away. Plan on giving him a costume for each season.

NA report after day one.. I created a WB/NA Corruptor now sitting at level 17 after 4 DFBs, some street hunting in Steel and 2 Dibs. Water Blast is a great fit with NA and I see no reason I won't be able to tem or solo with this character. I also created a Plant/NA Controller and that is at level 19 after 5 DFBs and 3 DiBs. This is a great combination with the immobs and holds of Plant and the debuffs of NA leaving everything vulnerable and the heals and buffs of NA making it extremely hard to hurt anyone on a team. I have no intention of adding a BM/NA to the crew but I have a 50 level Beast Mistress and NA seems like it would work very well there as well. Hey make what you like and have fun. |
