Please add a taunt aura to presence pool

I know the single target taunt is going away so that squishies have a power that's useful to them on their path to the fears can I propose that one of the fears moves down to lvl 4/6 the current AOE taunt remains at lvl 4/6 and a new lvl 14 Taunt Aura gets introduced

I would agree with this. I think it would be very popular power for melees without one (i.e. Scrappers)

This is a great idea and would be useful to specialty builds outside the melee ATs.

I'd also like this, I enjoy tanking on my scrappers but annoyed at the ones that don't have a taunt aura (see energy, fire, elec, etc.)

Oh great idea that is why I no longer play my spines/da, dm/da, katana/sr db/elec or dm/sr

After playing shields and having a taunt aura everything else with out one is just frustration to play. In fact since I came back this past few weeks I started my new project this week a DB/EA and guess what taunt aura and it is so much more enjoyable leveling than db/elec. I guess I am lucky I never got into Inv early in my COH playing days.

Agreed...if you have a big, or scary 'presence' what makes more sense than a taunt?

As much as I'd love to have access to a taunt aura on my FF/DP Tankfender, I don't see this happening. They'd have to lose either the ranged taunt or the new tier 5 to make room for an aura, and I don't see either of them going. The ranged taunt is too important now that the other ranged taunt has been replaced, and I'm not sure I'd be willing to take two prerequisite powers just for the taunt aura if this replaced the new Tier 5 (which actually looks pretty cool also, and provides a self rez for those who might need it).

My suggestion is to replace the very unpopular st taunt with one of the fears already in the pool and then replace that fear with a lvl 14 taunt aura instead of replacing the ST taunt with a placate power which is what the devs want to do and I would hate.

Eh, I don't see that happening, the placate is probably gonna go in no matter what. The aoe taunt for over whelming presence or the placate for a subdued presence, drop the ST fear for taunt aura. Leave the aoe fear as is.

A taunt aura in Presence would be awesome; on the other hand, it would become really, really hard to justify playing a melee AT over a buff/debuff one.

I would be shocked if a taunt aura 3 powers deep into Presence would suddenly make melee characters scarce. And if it increases the presence of support characters I say "Yay."

No, but some of us do, and adding a taunt aura to Presence would be enough for me to totally rework my Time/Sonic defender's build in order to make room.

I would also settle for a Taunt proc that I could put in Time's Juncture.
