I am completely in love with my Peacebringer now. It's so darn nice to be able to do efficient AoE damage for once.

It still only does the one power right? Did you find out what this 'easter egg' for it, is?

Yep it's pretty sweet, just got done speccing both my Khelds and taking them for a spin. Double Flare is pretty awesome for melee AOE now. For my Warshade I put it in Dark Detonation (he's human only) and that is equally awesome.

Everyone knew it was for Solar Flare as soon as it was announced, if that's what you're saying. It'd be nice if it wasn't a unique so I could take Photon Seekers.

Yeah thats what I meant. I remember it being unique and non global. Just hoping they might have changed it. lol

Hahaha, I agree. I am too grateful for how awesome Solar Flare is at the moment to mind too much though. My PB still can't farm as fast as my Blaster or my Brute but his AOE is a lot better. I'm still preferring using Nova where it's viable (when I can easily line up the KB) since the damage feels stronger, but the melee AOE presence this adds is just great. Have you gotten to test it out yet?

Yes, Double Flare is just the best. I'm hoping they give us more options for this so I can put one in photon. I'm already able to dwarf flare, solar flare, photon seekers. Be nice to be able to smack whatever lives through that!

Meant tro ask..

Assuming you have a power that is a % chance for kb to occur, you slot the IO and then..
Does it become kd, with that same % chance?
Does it become kd, with a 100% chance?
Does it become the % chance, further dependant on teh 'proc' rate of teh IO (assuming there is one)?

Powers with Knockback (either 100% or with some other %) become Knockdown (with the same % rate)

Powers without Knockback gain a 20% chance to cause Knockdown

Powers that already cause Knockdown are unaffected I believe, as the Enhancement causes a -99% Knockback on the power

I was thinking of taking it for my Warshade and putting in Gravitic Emanation

I think I might be the only person that is a little upset about this enhancement. For years some of us have been looking for a way to have a choice as to whether a power does knockback or not and now we have been given that choice in a limited fashion because the IO is a Unique..

Therefore in toons with Multiple KB attacks I can only slot this once..

Not saying im not going to place it in a few toons.. but kind of a huge letdown for the plans I had for some

I agree, but I suspect this is only an introduction for this mechanic.

Ehhh...

I think the development team is 100% aware of how powerful that change would be, and are wary of it upsetting a team gameplay balance schema that is already tenuous at best.

There is still time for a set that removes KB from a power, it maybe that you do less DPE with the set compared to other sets I don't know but this is certainly a universally good way as it effects all ATs thus shifting the balance no where.

Yes, this is a Game-Changer. It has changed how I play the game with my PB. I actually use Solar Flare when teaming now

I'd have to say I do like having this in Solar Flare. It does make it less annoying of a scatter power. Though, I may be the only one who sometimes enjoyed the ability to cause complete chaos in a mob.

Likewise, I would have preferred it if the effect of the proc was global. It would have made the set more of a help to characters that have multiple knockback powers.

Well, I think of the marketplace IOs that turned my Dark Controller's Fear into a very decent Cone attack.

I also think of the amplifiers which will allow any blaster to have perma snipe and mez protection at all times.

There's others, but the way I see it, with some exceptions (Bonfire) all this IO does it make powers functional that sucked.
