So glad I held off on the CoT and CoL costume bundles. So sad that I am down to 700pp and will have to buy some more if I want Retro Scifi next week.
You win Paragon Studios.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
WHOOOOHOOOOO
I get to save points again this week. More junk!

The troller was villain and scrapper hero in case anyone thinks that makes a difference.
Meh. Seriously disappointed that the Sci-Fi Costume set wasn't out today. Hera knows there's *plenty* of I23 content to play through without having SSA2 to contend with. Then again, count me in the camp that thinks its too soon to have another SSA series after the first arc just wrapped. I know Marvel loves to cram epic summer blockbuster story arcs down readers throats (which I hate) but that almost always it comes at the cost of barring the readers from settling in to the post-epic swept world left in the wake of the previous year's events and getting to know the survivors who still occupy that space.
Once SSA2 is done, I wouldn't mind if the Devs took a break and focused on Hero Signature arcs that just spotlighted each member of the new Freedom Phalanx (and their villainous counterparts). Get to know our mentors one to one for awhile before we journey back to SSA3...
Ah well, that's another week's worth of points saved.
Signature Story Arcs were promised to be a monthly content addition independent of issue releases. We went two months (April and May) without any SSAs. Many people thus think we're overdue for more SSA content and are very happy to see it start up again.
SSA 2 is also specifically designed to pick up in the aftermath of Darrin Wade's plot, which sounds like it should be exactly what you are asking for.
Except the bit about "taking a break from SSAs to focus on Signature Hero arcs." The point of SSAs is to push players to the forefront of the story. SSA 1 had the signature characters treating us as equals at first, but by the end, they were all looking to us to save the world. That's the kind of content this game needs. We've already got 7 years worth of content where we dance to their fiddles.
Main Hero: Chad Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1396 Badges
Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges
Mission Architect arcs: Doctor Brainstorm's An Experiment Gone Awry, Arc ID 2093

SSA 2.1 is 30-40 - the SSAs use a a different progress timeline from the 1-50 content, so the level ranges can be whatever the devs feel are required to best tell the story of each episode.

Kinda peeved that I bought a costume slot last week, and they're on sale now this week.
Then I bought one on sale, now I have them all. Just need stuff to put in them.
I'll have to look at see if the CoT one has anything I want in it. Already bought Barbarian a while back.
This is the kind of sale I expected during the anniversary month...
