They really should have been treated just like the Ascension armor, purchase or recipe drop.

Whatever Dev though having this and Maelstrom's pistols trial locked, on a stupidly low drop chance recipe, that also goes for 750 million to a billion on the market....

So if I have both Praetorian Excalibur and Primal Excalibur, and dual wield them somehow... does that make me the King of England twice over? The Double King?

I was lucky enough to get a drop on one of my first Mag runs! I really would have preferred to have this in a Broadsword version suitable for my scrapper, but I think it works pretty well on my anime-themed character as well.
I give you...Annie Mae and her new Excalibur weapon.
I almost sold it since it was going for so much but after asking some players for pictures of it, and then running the Pendragon mission in the new zone to see it close up myself, I just couldn't help but make it. Looks fantastic in action.
Maelstrom's pistols are garbage anyways...get better looking guns from character creation.

I agree with you. This is retarded. It wouldn't annoy so many folks, though, if they had seen fit to have a European greatsword as a standard TW option to begin with. Such an oversight is utterly baffling to me.

Hopefully, though, Magisterium farming will die down, full runs will become more common, more recipe drops will enter the market, and the demand will die down as the people willing to spend a billion to get the recipe in the first week all get theirs, leading to a precipitous drop in price. Maelstrom's Pistols say that may never happen, but we'll see.
