just got home from work and saw this.
it ruined my day. RD was one of my fav game show hosts of all time.
loved him on FF. he did an amazing job on FF and also when he was a regular panelist on Match73-78 and PM.
he will be missed

Enjoyed him on Family Feud, he was one of my favorite characters on Hogan's Heroes and he was hilarious on the Running Man

Funny, funny man. I loved him in Hogan's and on Family Feud. I grew up watching him; it was great to see him step out of his "normal" character to play Killian on the Running Man. A true entertainer.

I find your lack of signature disturbing.
He was awesome on the Match Game. But nothing was better than when he was hosting Family Feud. Those awkward moments where he was macking on wives, moms, daughters right in front of their family, and no one seemed to care. And then when contestants gave answers that were so goofy, off the wall, or just plain bad that Dawson would actually just lose it, and be laughing his *** off, tears running down his cheeks, bent over trying to gain his composure. That was just classic.
