Hmmmm, hopefully I have a successful run at some point. Sounds like you have to make sure people are +3 and people are playing sharp.

Thanks for running these MP. These reminded me of when Lam first came out and they became easier once everyone understood the routine and had the next incarnate powers slotted.

As a side note did you manage to run a successful "Really Hard Way" attempt? I could only shirk my parenting duties so long and had to leave after the successful Mo run.

Thanks MP, was alot of fun!

Thanks for the Master badge, MP.

GP: I ran one of these myself later in the night pretty much accepting anyone who wanted to join. We got through everything without much trouble until we hit Tyrant. We could keep the well connections down, but without all +3 and a good amount of debuff, we couldn't get him lower than 30%. Also, I probably had way too much melee. Still, since everyone needs that sweet, sweet Hybrid XP, I considered it a success (I unlocked Hybrid myself on that run).

Once more people have Hybrid unlocked, non-optimal runs will become much easier.

Tried a RHW attempt but could not bring him under 35% health. When our Lore pets recharged, Tyrant managed to wipe most of us out after we had summoned them.

It was a nice attempt though!

I (based on last night's MP runs) would call this a fight where you really need strong debuffs, especially regeneration, and people to be +3. The +3 requirement shouldn't be that hard to meet since you have to have all the other slots unlocked to run it at all. Other than that I'd say (again based on how we did things) the keys are:

1) Keep the wells closed unless you're going for a badge.
2) As soon as you see the "Air Crackles" warning, get the heck away from him. This is probably the most important strategy bit.
3) Make sure you're behind him if you're not tanking him. Frikkin' lasers on his frikkin' head hurt.
4) Have tanky types who aren't tanking Tyrant try to keep the adds from away from squishy types. Ground-targetted area controls seemed to help with this too, but the whole thing was too frenetic for me to pay much attention to what my earthquakes and volcanic gasses were doing.

I for one was glad to see some real difficulty in this one, especially after finding Dilemma Diabolique to be way too easy for a league of +3's.

Edit: Others who were on successful runs feel free to add to or correct my observations.

I followed this last night and rarely died on my blaster. I think it's one of the best things to keep in mind, though your list is all good.

Thank you, MP, for hosting this and letting me in last minute. I'll try to scan the forums more often.

I had a lot of fun, am glad to have gotten the MO badge, and still don't have the Really Hard Way badge, which I deem as an acceptable and exciting challenge for the near future, along with MoKeyes. *hint*

I died several times in the first few runs from not getting out fast enough. It's hard to fight the impulse to get "just one more" attack in before moving, but I learned the hard way to run as soon as possible. Those who were there with tanky-types could give a better idea on whether having high health will get you through it, but a squishy who doesn't hoof it is dead.

To be fair, I meant that I rarely died after I realized what his air crackling would do, and the distance from him it would do it.

I was on my energy/traps corruptor, I kept dying from the aoe electricity when laying down acid morts or poison traps on the Giant Jerk.

I died a few time before I could move or hit a heal vs the jerk. Once I notice I could not withstand the damage I moved, even though I play my tank. Even with Unstoppable going I was basically one shotted with the jerk's electricty.

pretty sure the lightning damage is untyped instead of energy.

Having the level shifts from popping the wells helped, if I had one up I could heal back fast enough with Twilight grasp to not die.

Stil generally easier to just jump back though.

I found that for my blaster who is spec'd as a range blaster and not a blapper, I could, for the most part, stay out of range of his crackin' lightning. I occasionally creeped into range but after what seemed like the first "tick" of it, I back pedalled quickly out of range. Depending on where I wandered I actually found the Olympians to be more of a problem for me.
