This was the "Hero Gear Pack" - it was simply the CoH DVD edition without the account creation code and month of time.

Not as a paid extra.

That isn't access. If you are talking about the Architect Edition, that is now a month of time plus either the Cyborg or Magic super pack

Though...

400 points for costume pack = $5
1 month of game time = $15

That = $20

Architect Edition = $25
VIP sub (including 400 pts) = $15

Magic or Tech Super Pack, er Booster - Costume PLUS power plus other extras. More than ten bucks, more than likely (haven't looked up the costs of the emotes/powers)

I'm sorry but that quip was an exclusive feature of the Arcanaville May 3th 2012 post pack and will be replaced with a generic joke after the next forum maintenance.

The 800pp prices are WAY the heck too high in Snow Globes' suggestion. For what you get, they are not worth a powerset. Not in a million years.

Then you don't understand the reasoning behind it. It is supposed to be high. They are prestige items and should be treated as such. When in the retail stores, the difference between the regular and DVD editions were $20. Now you got the physical items and the digital items for that $20 difference, so I cut the price in half. Even the difference between the other in-game packs (Good vs Evil, AE, Mac/Valkyrie Pack, and GR bonus) the prices were $8-$10 for the in-game items only.

I seriously doubt that they would not sell for 800 pp, given the constant complaints that these items are not available otherwise for less than $10 (often as high as $100 or more).

Short reply: Tough.

Then don't buy them. But those of us who already have them spent $20 extra (1600 points) to get each set so don't complain if you get them for half that. Be grateful that you're allowed to get them at all.

I would spend 800 PP for that Arachnos cape alone.....seriously.

I think I bought the last existing CoV Collector's Edition at the auction at the UK player meet at Omega Sektor. I think it cost me £50 (all for charidy, mate) and I was delighted with it, it was worth every penny. Rockjaw said it had been found in a room at NCSoft Brighton, and was going to be thrown away until Aero explained to him how much it was wanted.

[Edit: I then got another as a gift for helping out at the event, and gave that one away.]
