Is the new t9 Mecha set *replacing* Celestial or Fire & Ice?

On Beta the Fire and Ice set and the Mecha set are the only options. Celestial can't be claimed.

Issue 23 has been in Open Beta for 2 weeks.
Figure another 4-8 weeks for it to go live.
Paragon has said that Celestial Armor will be made available through some other means at a later date The most likely method is that it will probably appear in the Paragon Market, maybe at a more expensive rate than the 400 PP that costume sets normally run, and probably not until Fire & Ice rotates out at the earliest.

I23 is much light on content that I22 was.
There are no archetypes ajustments, no proliferation, no new powersets, barely any new thing for the store to test...
I guess I23 will be live for the 8th aniversary.

I'm subbed into October, 2012. I was going to meander my way through Celestial in the next few months as I get new tokens, but now what do I do?
How do I even get more tokens right away? And will I need 3 of them to get all the Celestial stuff (I think it's 3)?
You will need 3 Tokens to get all of Celestial.
If you pay $100US, you will get 9600 Paragon Points and 8 Tokens.
Plus, whenever you spend points, you'll know you'll be getting everything at a 20% discount.
Plus, now that you're into Tier 9, you'll be getting 550 more points per month instead of 400.
And you'll probably never worry about being able to afford anything else that may come out for the next two years.

I bought $50 worth of points and got 4 tokens actually. So I got the whole Celestial set right off, plus the Phoenix wings/weapons from Fire & Ice for good measure. 
I needed to open up some new character slots anyway, and they were on sale to boot, so between the discount for the points and the sale I really got a good deal on two five-packs. The rest I'm leaving in the pot for later. I have all the new powersets except Street Justice, so there's always that if I get too antsy.

I actually doubt that we've actually seen everything Issue 23 will have yet in the beta.

I wouldn't count on it being before mid-May, whether it's 'ready' or not. Excluding Issue 1 (the first issue after release) and Issue 6 (the release of CoV) the shortest time between full issues has been 78 days. A May 15th release would be only 70 days after the release of Issue 22.
