Bad tagging in OP.

Issue 23 Overview Page

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Hm, really a new issue with no new power sets. That is rather surprising. Guessing they're planning to push this all out a lot sooner than later then.

Said new incarnate tree still fails to do the former claimed capability well for many ATs.

Well, it got me a new first on the forums. First time I've used that button for a redname post.

Almost as much fun as when I've used it on my own posts.

it says for the core ATs, which basically all include melee, dmg, control, or support

i dont think EATs are considered "core"

I totally missed the word "Overview" in the subject line and freaked out in disbelief for just a second.

Then I read it again, and was both disappointed and relieved.

FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.

I didn't say anything about EATs. It fails to "shore up the weakness" of any AT lacking control completely. It fails to "shore up the weakness" of low damage mod ATs as effectively as it does for high damage mod ATs. It fails to "shore up the weakness" of any ranged AT that plays at range looking for surviviability or for any AV situation. And it fails to "shore up the weakness" of anyone looking for more support unless there is at least 5+ stacks of support from 5+ people.

Seems a pretty slight Issue overall. With another zone which will be played for a week and then become a barren wasteland.

What? No one is going to mention the "Anti-TARDIS" picture?

Night Ward is almost geographically identical to First Ward - it's the dark mirror of that zone, and the storyline there is a direct continuation of the FW storyline.

You say that like you've never participated in one of the City betas before.

I've been in a few

And this Issue is all about the Praetorian finale - the slot's just a bonus

Yes, that pretty much what I meant. First Ward is empty any time I venture in, after a week so will this, unfortunately

I'm not weeping, but when they start claiming things officially as a live server statement that a power is going to do something that it currently cannot do, it is cause for concern.

The Penelope Yin picture is an interesting inclusion since she isn't mentioned anywhere else in the overview......
