The servers that were restarted are the fixed ones. All the others are map unknown.

Currently I have checked the following servers I have received the same Map Unknown error on ALL CHARACTERS for all THREE ACCOUNTS I own, and two accounts I have the log ins for my friends for emergencies.
Everything is locked out at the moment on the following servers to my knowledge:
Freedom: Down Hard, can't even get to character select
Exalted: Unknown Map all
Virtue: Unknown Map all
Test Server: Working

You can make new characters and log them off and back on.
Only previously existing characters seem to be mapless.

Not entirely true.
I had level one characters in Breakout/old tutorials, the game knew where those maps were apparently.
Although I was only online on Union in Breakout for about two minutes, then I got knocked out again.

i finally got around to trying out a thing with laser swords far, far away and after a while being unable to ascend slightly steepish slopes, largish rock piles or low piles of rubble combined with some annoying control quirks gave me a mild headache. So i figured i'd relax with some CoH Freedom to go anywhere the $#@^ i want. Apparently anywhere except the servers that is. i is now sad.

Character creator is still working if you have an open spot and want to monkey with costumes while waiting.... but I'd rather being playing. Map: Unknown is a scary place.
